I was disappointed by my experience today. I ordered the salmon sushi burger. The pictures made it looks really good... a fluffy soft buttery bun and piled high with crispy potato with fresh veggies and thick pieces of salmon. But what I received was different from the picture. The bun was stale and over toasted to the point of it being burnt and there were maybe a sprinkling of little crispy potato sticks, not enough to add any texture or flavour. The salmon itself was good and there was a nice amount of veggies. The miso soup was good but a touch salty for my liking. The wait for the food was painful. I stood there for about 15 minutes. If this was a sit down restaurant (and not a quick service food stall) that would be no problem but because it’s in a mall, I had to stand and wait for the food, while holding my heavy shopping bags. In total I paid $14.95 plus tax for a burger, shrimp chips and a miso soup. It’s a good price for the items (especially sushi grade salmon) but the stale dry bun was very disappointing. I...

We were at first skeptical since it was food court food but the first time we had one of their poke bowls (volcano one with crispy rice) we were so impressed.

We had it again a second time and also tried the mango chicken one but both the bowls this time were not as delicious.

Not to worry, we ordered other things and liked most of them. The chicken karaage is tender and delicious. The volcano rolls were so good. The rice was soft and the flavours just worked together really well.

We weren't as impressed with the the teriyaki bombs but I think it was mostly because we had a lot of the same flavours already so it didn't really stand out much.

Don't shrug it off when you're at the mall......

Ordered through Skip; the veggie tempura had a very strange consistency and portion size was very small. Crispy lobster temari was just a generic ball of rice with some very small lobster pieces inside. Too big for a mouthful but too awkward to eat in multiple pieces, also was garnished with a deep fried shrimp tail - like the part you don't eat? Tuna Poke was filled with unnecessary ingredients such as shredded lettuce, lots of mayonnaise, and cucumbers - there was almost no avocado, the nori was left in a small clump, and the tuna was very oxidized so not sure on how fresh it was. Maybe dining in would be a better experience but I wouldn't personally recommend ordering...

Have had two bad experiences here at separate times. Had to wait at least 15 minutes for the first time, and second time was 25 minutes. Both times the food LOOKED GOOD but was extremely salty, ordered the Sunrise, and Spicy Salmon poke bowls. I couldn't take back the food because I was told to go back to the line, but I really was not about to wait 15-20 minutes per person just to get a refund. Also, it's Covid times and the cashier/person who hands out the orders was not wearing gloves. ??? EDIT: from 1 star to 3 because of a professional response.

The sushi wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything special. Ordering was a huge challenge. I called in to place my order, and communication was very difficult. I was first told I called the wrong number. I then called back and it turns out it was the right number and they misunderstood me the first time. It then took me about ten minutes to actually place my order. I had to repeat myself four to five times about what I wanted. There was several times I mentioned an item from their menu and they seemed to have no idea what it was.
