Kung Pao Wok — Restaurant in Winnipeg

They closed at 6:00 I went to get food at 5:30 and they were basically closed, they had very little food left. I find this unacceptable, 5:30 is still dinner time! I work in restaurants and have had people come in at 9:59 when we close at 10:00 and you better bet they expect to be served and we will serve them. The staff at Kung Pao Wok didn't seem to care, 5 of them just stood around watching the clock to closing. Nice food for a decent price if you get the manager's combo but the staff are hand picked from some of the worst people on the face of this Earth. I walked up and they had half a tray of sweet and sour pork and asked for the manager's combo which includes that, one of the staff took the tray and threw it behind the counter and said they didn't have any. Food is packed, with an absolutely splendid amount of flavour, their fried noodles are absolutely amazing. Not to mention their customer service was engaging and welcoming. The gentleman was very straightforward and seemed to love engaging with people. Definitely one of my top 3 locations to dine at St Vital Mall, if you do decide to visit.
