Ripped me off for $16.65.
I received a $25.00 giftcard for a Christmas gift. Went through the drive thru at 1:04pm December 24, 2020 with my daughter. (The transaction provided to me by this restaurant was #66252146). The fellow at the drive thru asked me to slide my card through the card reader, but did not work the first time; he said it did not work so we tried it again; did not work it again, he said it was not activated. So I just paid cash, still have the change in the dish in my car. Called the number on the back of the card when I went home, and it says there is only $8.34 left on the card.....it did work !!!! I have paid $33.32 for a Big Mac Meal and one Big Mac on the side. I did not know what to do, so called McDonalds corporate (Case # 1693653), they told me to call the restaurant. Called the restaurant and the woman couldn't get me off the line fast enough, she said "it isn't the restaurant's fault". I guess it was my fault for taking my business there and trusting the card I had was erroneous and ending up pay $33.32 for a Big Mac Meal and a Big Mac !!! I called corporate McDonalds back and they said they would send a case file (1693653) to the restaurant and they would have to call me back in 5 days. I HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED AS OF JANUARY 9, 2021 and likely will never be. In spite of the restaurant providing me with the transaction number (66252146 and time of my visit on December 24, 2020 ) they admit no error. There would definately have been a cash overage in the cash register count for that person that day for $16.66, but that has obviously been shoved in someone's pocket at the restaurant, and I just contributed this to the thief. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE LOCATION, THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS NOR HONESTY , EVEN WHEN THEY ACKNOWLEDGED MY VISIT. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAN THIS MCDONALDS...
Read moreThis particular McDonald's is generally alright. It runs on the smaller side but still has enough space for everyone's needs. It's definitely centered around cars though since there's just a small bit of grass from the sidewalk, so in winter, you'll want to be extra careful trying to navigate the entry or exit of the drive-thru as that's going to be your only clear path towards the door; definitely watch your back if you're using the entry side, even in the warmer months. Food quality is not noticeably different for better or for worse as far as what you would expect from a McDonald's, however, it appears to be under the same ownership as the Osborne and Cityplace locations as you'll notice identically higher pricing over other locations in close proximity, namely, the Nathaniel one just a little ways down Grant. I'm not sure if this was a thing before the events of 3/11 occurred, but a nice touch is that if you order a drink ahead through the app even when inside, they'll actually fill it for you. If you've got a preference for how much ice you want, be sure to set it. You probably won't be too disappointed with this McDonald's, but if I were you, I'd save yourself a few bucks and turn left on Grant to go to the Nathaniel location since it isn't that terribly far away,...

We've seated at a table and ordered kids meal for our hungry baby with the app entered table number, the app says will meet me at the table and waited for 15mins my husband went to check. Manager as shown in previous review said she doesn't see the system asking her to bring to table15. She did not feel or say sorry at all that we waited this long for nothing for our baby. My husband asks her to apologize and she refused and said it's not her fault it's the internet error. Very disappointed at McDonald's training as this is a manager of yours. Finally got the kids meal, opened the bottle just about to give to my baby and found it was chocolate milk, I ordered 1%milk. My husband brought it back to the counter and this manager said they ran out of milk, this is all they have. Do you think you should inform customers when you are changing the items they've ordered and apologize?? Terrible horrible customer service and manner of this manager and this location all staffs speaking to each other in their language not English or French in front of customers.
