Neon Cone — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I wish I could give a review of the the ice cream but we didn’t even get the chance to try anything! There was only 1 customer in front of us and 2 staff behind the counter of Frogurtz (part of neon cone). Both staff seemed clueless, like it was their first day of work. One staff member was helping the customer in front of us. The other staff member just stood there - like a deer staring into headlights. I waited for about 5 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement. I was getting annoyed and so I asked “Excuse me, how long is it going to take to get served?” The girl behind the counter shrugged her shoulders, and rudely said “I don’t know”. I visited my fav I've cream parlour at the Forks today ,I was surprise that only 1 worker was behind the counter.

There was a line up due to the 24 degree weather we were experiencing, beautiful day for a mint chocolate.

I reluctantly go to the Forks these days but I wanted ice cream.

I got my usual 2scoops, which the worker gave me a generous helping. I noticed he pulled the chocolate dip waffle cone from the fridge, later I tasted the cone, was kind of a stale flavour to it.

Later in the day, I was having stomach cramps and aching that kept me on the toilet, I suspect was due to my ice cream, since it was the last thing I ate.

I visited the store today in the evening with my partner and I’m giving this place one star due to the following: The girl taking the orders was preparing one of those soft ice creams dipped in sauces, a fly landed on the ice cream after she pulled it from the chocolate dip. She realized it, and walked to the back and asked someone what to do. That guy simply instructed her to remove the fly, which she did using her finger and proceeded to hand it over to the customer who was not aware of this because they were standing outside at the window.
