Nestled in the vibrant and historic market of The Forks in Winnipeg, Nuburger stands out as a prime destination for burger enthusiasts seeking a unique and flavorful experience.

The location itself is a perfect blend of cultural heritage and modern charm, providing an inviting atmosphere for locals and tourists alike.

Nuburger's menu is a testament to creativity and quality, offering a wide range of burger options that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences.

From classic beef patties to innovative vegetarian and vegan selections, there's something for everyone. Each burger is thoughtfully crafted with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring a satisfying and guilt-free indulgence.

During my visit, I opted for the Tropic Thunder, a burger that truly lives up to its name. This delectable creation features a juicy chicken patty topped with a harmonious blend of tropical flavours.

Accompanying this delicious burger were Nuburger's fries, which were perfectly golden and incredibly tasty, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal.

The Forks' bustling atmosphere adds to the dining experience at Nuburger. Whether you're enjoying your meal inside or opting for a takeout to savour by the river, the friendly and efficient service enhances the overall experience.

Nuburger at The Forks is more than just a burger joint; it's a destination for those seeking culinary variety and quality. The varied burger options ensure that every visit can be a new adventure, and the Tropic Thunder is a standout choice that I highly recommend.

Tried them at the Forks market because they offer halal beef patties. I opted for the vegetarian option “Billie Eilish” because it looked loaded with toppings and was also listed as spicy and then asked them to swap the veggie patty for a beef patty.

First bite and dear God, I was in heaven. I wish I had the patience to take a picture before I scarfed it down in a second but it was irresistible and I am not exaggerating. The burger came piled high with toppings including cucumbers, red onions, balsamic onions, Siracha and alfalfa sprouts. I’m sure there were more toppings that I can’t recall now. It was spicy, savoury, juicy and overall very satisfying. Barely could take a bite since it was loaded. I’m very happy I picked this one.

We also tried their sweet potato fries which were very different from what you get every where. These were thick cut, coated outside with a tempura like batter but super tender inside. They have lots of dip options but we tried spicy mayo and rosemary aioli and both paired well with the fries.

Being restricted to Halal meat, there are not many halal burger options in ‘peg. I can say for sure, Nuburger will be my...

Stopped by here with my gf 2 days ago and ordered an average joseph chicken burger and 2 orders of fries. I noticed the chicken in my burger seemed oddly shaped, mostly too thin but with a thicker part in one section, and to my eye looked like it could be a little bit undercooked there. However I was in a bit of a hurry to get down to the river for my ski bike appointment and didn't think too much about it. In hindsight this was a mistake and I should've trusted my eye. I woke up yesterday at 4am with vomiting/diarrhea for a good 9 or 10 hours and couldn't move eat or drink anything all day long from the nausea and unsettled stomach. I called the restaurant and employee was apologetic, told me all meats are checked with a probe, and to reach out to management. There appears to have been a mistake in my case as my food was not cooked through. I notice another review from only a month ago about somebody else getting food poisoning here as well so I would suggest a group review/orientation of your safe food handling and cooking practices may be a good idea. Will not be...

In all honesty, I cannot review the food, because I never got to taste anything. We arrived at Nuburger at about 11:15 am. As expected from a civilized individual, I politely stood waiting for one of the three people behind the counter, to acknowledge me being there, and to take my order, or to at least just say "I'll be with you in a moment"...but all in vain. After about 15 minutes of being the sole idiot at the counter, I figured they did not want or need my business, so I left. I will never taste their food now, because I will not go back. To the three individuals behind the counter, just this, you might think you are trendy now, and you might think you are doing us all a favor by allowing us to buy your food...well, you know how it is with "trendy" stuff...trends blow over. This kind of arrogance and disrespect, will not secure you loyal clients.

We’ve been to the location on Kenaston, and loved it, so this was our first visit to this location. We went at 6pm on a Friday and it was pretty quiet inside, but there were a steady stream of delivery drivers, which speaks to the places popularity, despite the quiet dining room. The staff are friendly and helpful, and happy to provide recommendations if you’re unsure of anything. The food is delicious! The yam fries are the amazing kind with a little breading, and the dipping sauces are tasty. The chips are quite crispy and go well with the sauces. We ordered 4 burgers, and some of the buns were a little dried out, but not all of them. That didn’t take away from the meal too much, but was a little disappointing. Overall, a nice little place with excellent food and friendly staff.
