Pita Pit — Restaurant in Winnipeg

If I could give a zero star rating I would. The place was empty, other than 3 people ahead of me, and it somehow took 30 mins for them to finish my pita. I walked into Pita Pit at 3:35 in the afternoon, and the Pita wasn't ready until 4:05!! There was tons of confusion with the staff and customers ahead of me. They made my pita, while the meat was on the grill cooking, but they gave my meat away to the wrong customer. I had to keep waiting while they cooked new meat, and by the time it was done, my Pita had been sitting on the counter 15mins. I asked them to remake the Pita, to which I got a giant eye roll from the guy who messed up the meat. Sorry, but I am not taking any chances with the food I eat while I am pregnant. I will also not be taking any chances on going back to this Pita Pit location. All around...

Girlfriend and I went in to get a rice bowl and a wrap, paid 13.50$ for the rice bowl and 10.50$ or so for the wrap. Wish I got a wrap as well due to the rice bowl being way over priced for the portion. When speaking with the employees they showed the rice portion and agreed it was over priced for the amount of rice that comes with the dish. If the container looks half full, that will always be a problem. Very unsatisfactory. When returning to speak about the issue, the employees said they cannot do anything to compensate or make up for the unsatisfied customer. If you cannot satisfy customers with what you offer. First time at pita pit. Was pretty good, didn't have to eat a pound of bread like i do at subway, everything is cut that day instead of pre-bagged in mexico and shipped here. The best part was everyone spoke english very well so it was really easy to order. Only issue is they should have a pita bigger then 9" but other then that everything looked very fresh, and as of june.1/20 all the prices have gone up on already overpriced items. The 2 can dine for 18.99 has now become 21.99. pitas are pretty good but not filling at all .I already don't come as much as I'd like cause I don't feel you get ur money's worth.
