Santa Lucia Pizza Portage — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Ordered from here many times. We ask for the pizza to be cut into squares as they do with their larger pies for sharing. Never been a problem before, always been good.

Yesterday, placed our order as usual. When we went to pick up was told that they could not cut it into squares. No mention of this when placing the order. When pressed the person at the till said that the guys screwed up cutting it so that's why it was in usual slices. Guy offers to remake it if we don't mind waiting.

We wait for the new pie. The new pie that comes out is in squares but it is entirely the wrong pizza. Wait again, new pie comes out and it is cut into one giant square.

At this point it's clear we aren't having any luck. Ask for our money back we will try eating somewhere else. Clerk insists he cannot give money back. Tells us to call back Monday speak with the manager.

Now let me tell you manager couldn't have been more rude if he tried. Asserted that because we weren't charged for it to be cut into squares we had nothing to complain about as they where doing us a favor and insisted that he would not reimburse us.

Beware that they don't do complicated orders and wont let you know when placing the order(like asking for a pizza to be cut a certain way). Some staff may lie to you, and when complaining to management they...

I live in Charleswood and the last three times that I have ordered Pizza for my family has been from Santa Lucia. It is more expensive than the other Pizza places that are located in Charleswood ?? … … but when delivery guy hands me my pizza, I know that I am getting my moneys worth just by feeling how heavy the Pizza is inside of the Pizza box.

Last night I ordered 1x 15” Santa Lucia Special , 2 x 10 “ and Large Greek Salad and paid $80.00

All of our Pizza’s were loaded with tonnes of cheese and good quality toppings and the Greek Salad was delicious and a good size for the price.

Everything today is SOO expensive .. Groceries .. Gas etc. and ordering Pizza has become a very pricey treat too. I order similar size Pizza orders from other Pizza places in Charleswood and I am paying 50-60 bucks … and I am getting much less Pizza for my money and not as good quality either.

But my opinion .. I am spending a bit more money when I order from Santa Lucia but I don’t mind because I know that I am getting both Quality...

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!!! I'M SHOCKED AND SO UNIMPRESSED. I've been ordering weekly every Thursday for months from this location for a resident I work with. I was unable to get money from my resident last week. But it was too late to call and cancel as they had arrived with the pizza. I apologized and explained the situation. Honest mistake. I call today to make my weekly order. THEY REFUSE TO SERVE ME NOW.... Isn't the customer always right? I was unable to pay ONCE and had to cancel but now you'll never serve me again? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! YOUR A BIG COMPANY AND YOUR REALLY GOING TO REFUSE SOMEONE OVER $20? NEVER BUY FROM HERE WORST PLACE EVER TO ORDER PIZZA FROM. THE PEOPLE AREN'T FRIENDLY OR CUSTOMER ORIENTATED. NEVER EVER ORDERING FROM SANTA LUCIA AGAIN. I'M DISGUSTED WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED. And It's unfair to do this to pour senior citizen. HAVE SOME COMPASSION. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR - THEY DESERVE 0 STARS...
