Slice's® Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I just moved into the area and was happy to see a pizza joint that i have never tried before. Reviews were good so i thought i would try it. I have eaten tons of different pizza's in my life so i think i know what i am talking about. First, the price. I had to ask the prices because it wasn't posted anywhere. 47 bucks for a large Mission Impossible pizza. And then i asked for the price of a medium and he says something about the price being the same because of the toppings. I didn't really understand what he meant so i just got the large. I asked for no olives so that dropped the price down to 43 bucks. Was cooked pretty quick and smelled great in the car on the way home. Second issue was the toppings. Lots of cheese, i will say i am impressed with that part but the sauce was bland. I could barely taste it at all. And the worst part of everything was the mushrooms. Canned mushrooms! Not even fresh mushrooms. Nothing worse than canned mushrooms on a pizza in my opinion. That really ruined the whole pizza for me. The guy at the counter was friendly so no complaints there. But, sadly, even tho it is only a few blocks from my new place , i doubt very much that i will ever stop there again. For that price i can go elsewhere and get fresh ingredients instead of...

Are you kidding me, this place has existed under my nose for 20 years and I never tried it before, what is wrong with me.

I moved here from Regina many moons ago and I am a diehard Western and Houston Pizza Fan, I have scoured Winnipeg for the last 20 years looking for a place hat sells something similar. MY SEARCH IS OVER!!!

I stopped here just before lunch and what grabbed me was the picture of the Pizza in front of the store, I walked in and asked if there pizza looked like it does in the picture, I was assured it did. The best pizza I have had for the awesome price it is sold for. The fact that it is hand tossed is a total bonus.

The pizza is very yummy looking and does not disappoint, Thank you for coming into my life. I am ordering from here very soon and very often.

They make great pizza! I personally like to order my pizzas with thick crust, extra sauce, and extra-cooked. Custom orders are no problem for these guys! It does look like some of the cooks are in training. There was a mistake with one of my orders a while ago which I only noticed after getting home, but I gave them a call and they handled the situation well. Within a half hour my new pizza was delivered nice and hot. Despite the mistake, their customer service was on point, and the new cooks seem to have gotten a hang of things. I...
