We tried to order from here a few weeks ago, but the person taking our order was making so many mistakes, even after repeated attempts at me placing the order for one salad and one pizza, that I just told them I'd come in to the restaurant instead. I didn't bother. We went somewhere else.
So we tried again and ordered for Mother's Day - four days in advance - one large cheese salad, a small order of breadsticks and two small pizza's. Giving this order over the phone took about 25 minutes. No joke. The person taking the order was having a very difficult time with it. We then called on Sunday as soon as they opened to confirm the order. When we arrived to pick it up we were told that there were no breadsticks. They didn't have time to make any more and they were too busy. They said we wouldn't be charged even though some of the breadsticks we were supposed to get actually came with the salad so at the very least we should have had something taken off our bill or had an another option provided to us to compensate for the missing breadsticks. When we got home I spent about 10-15 minutes picking the salami and bad pieces of lettuce out of the "cheese" salad. There were also NO tomatoes in the salad at all. The pizza was good. I've also looked online at the other Sorrento's locations and the prices vary so do your homework before ordering. For a new location the first impression of this place is very poor. Even though the new location is convenient I'd rather drive to another location or go somewhere...
Read moreThis is a TERRIBLE restaurant. We ordered a Sorrento’s salads with extra cheese for pick-up. Got home and realized they give us a cheese salad (wrong item), the bread sticks were hard as rocks… we only received three AND the dressing was spilt all over the bag they put the salad in. We called the restaurant to advise them of the mix up, we got a male worker who identified himself as a manager. He spoke over me almost immediately and throughout the entire conversation, raised his voice, told me I ordered the wrong thing and then told me I’d have to go pick up the right item if I wanted it. I asked repetitively for his name so we knew who to talk to when we went there and he would not give his name! At this point the conversation was extremely volatile and unprofessional on his part! I asked for the owners information in which he advised he could not give me this information either. When asked when the owner would be in, initially he said he couldn’t give that information either but then eventually stated ‘I guess he might be on tomorrow’. He then stated I was threatening him and started yelling at me and calling me a derogatory name. I do not recommend this...
Read moreNot worth the money. It’s way too expensive. I don’t mind paying more if it’s worth it, but this is not. I got a medium Sorrento pizza and it came to $35 with tax! I could get a pizza that size from Santa Lucia for cheaper and it would taste way better. I believe their mediums are around $25. Some of the crust was burnt as you can see in the photo. The fresh tomatoes on it were nice but it leaves you with a very small window of time to eat it before it gets soggy. I got to the restaurant early to pick it up, got it as soon as it was ready, got home within 10 minutes and it was already a bit soggy. I would never get it again unless there was a super sale. If I want to spend the extra money for a good pizza that’s actually worth it, I would stick with Santa Lucia. The restaurant did have a nice vibe. I liked the oldies music they were playing and the staff seemed nice. No customers in the restaurant though, so they were very attentive. I don’t think this place will last long with these prices and what you get. No one would gladly pay this much for a mediocre burnt crust pizza. I know I won’t be again. I regret wasting almost $40 of my...
