Ok so this is a new review but I don't want to delete my last one cause .. well I'm not a fraud. 😁
So this time I was there, the employee was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! they were super informative, friendly, helpful and did I mention friendly! Being a past employer I know the subway standards. And whenever I speak up at this location on how my food is being prepared I get accosted with dirty looks or told "that's not how subway does it anymore" even though other locations do. Needless to say I was made the best salad I've had from the William location. I was given the cheese that comes with making a sub into a salad and they cut the cucumbers and tomatoes. Clearly a person whom takes pride in what they do.
After this experience, which was a breath of fresh air. I would HIGHLY suggest to Subway to make this employee (apologies I forgot to get their name, but they said they work out of the portage and notre dame location) A MANAGER and have them train all the employees at the William and sherbrook location because they are absolutely THE WORST and no one should have to pay for a less than sub due to employees having a lack of passion or even desire to do their jobs right.
THANK YOU NOTRE DAME LOCATION PERSON! YOU ARE GREAT AND OTHERS SHOULD FOLLOW YOUR LEAD!! 🥂👑🎉🎉🎉🎉
I GIVE YOU 5 STARS BUT THE STORE STILL HAS 1. I WILL ADD THE PHOTO

Was just there at 6pm. The sign on the door says "Masks required". I walk in and there were two people sitting at a table talking with no masks anywhere in sight. I remind the staff a mask is required. She says they told them for next time. ...um that's how things get spread. Smh absolutely appalling.
Ntm this location always has its coolers up to high (I know as I also worked for subway in my youth) it is suppose to be a specific temp so the veggies are fresh, not frozen. Which they are always frozen.
I can see others would agree with my following recommendations, either send actual employees who do the job to a franchise standard. Or close it.
We don't pay for rude staff, frozen food or the possibility to be exposed to a life threatening illness. One day they will be sued for a death or illness. Just waiting.

Read moreWhenever I arrive at this location (like this morning) a few minutes after 7am the door is always locked and the open sign is not lit up, and yet the hours of operation listed on Google say 7am-10pm Mon - Fri. There has never been a sticker on the door or window that indicates the hours of operation either, which ALL OTHER Subway Locations have! After I knock, the lady will open the door. I shouldn't have to do this at all. Especially when it's -30c outside at 7am or pouring rain like this past week. I don't like coming to this location at all bc of this! Some of us would like to eat an early breakfast before work or before our medical appts in this area! They don't answer the telephone when you're right outside the door in bad weather either. All other Subway's have a baker in the back and a front end server ready to serve you when you walk in, and a sticker on the glass that says exactly when they are open. Not a Subway that purposely doesn't display there set times to deceive or hide something in how they operate behind the scenes and locked doors from their customers. I'm reporting this to the head office in Canada! Go to Guildy's Eatery inside the HSC for a 7am customer service and a full homemade breakfast for $6.99 or go to the 24 hour 2nd floor HSC Eatery instead where things are open for you to eat! Like...
Read moreOccasionally, some staff members can be a bit rude & have this stuck up kind of attitude. I took my kids to eat there & the first lady who cut the bread & put the meat on (she was a mid 20's aboriginal woman) was nice, courteous & sweet to my kids. Even made the odd teasingly joking gesture - my kid said no cheese & she pretended to say "what ALL the cheese?!" -- to my kids a time or two. The next lady who put the vegetables & sauces on (she was a younger East Indian female) had a chip on her shoulder & was even getting frustrated because my kids were being kids & going "umm, leafs (she reaches for spinach) NO NO THE OTHER ONES" I laughed & said "she means lettuce" She just didn't smile AT ALL & even kept sighing because my kids were "uhhh & umm" ing a few times. They're children. they will say they want tomatoes then pick them off when we sit down. Big deal!! 😏😏 Basically, it's as I said; a lot of other staff I have encountered here are great. They're friendly to me, always. The times when I bring my kids for lunch or something, they're sweet & smiley towards them. All except that one female. I don't think I have met all of the staff as I have only lived around this Subway for a few months. But that's my opinion &...
