Pho No 1 Restaurant — Restaurant in Winnipeg

It wasn’t a good experience in this restaurant. I come with my bf and his mom- we ordered two c-3 soup and two dishes and it took 45 mins. When the table beside us ordered at the same time and got 4 dishes in 15 mins The table beside us were putting there food in to takeout boxes when we finally got our food!! I had my timer set on my phone. The owner comes and asks us 35 mins after we ordered if we wanted two c-3 we knew they had forgot to make our soup. Another table showed up when the owner asked if we ordered two c3 and there soup came to their table in 10 mins when our soup came also,after we WAITED 45 mins for ours. We mentioned this to the owner and he says that’s the way it works in small businesses that there are takeout orders and they were busy. He basically said TFB that’s too bad and what can you do. HE DIDNT care at all that they forgot our order or misplaced it and didn’t want to rectify the situation to make it better with us and said that’s how it works in small businesses. Basically pay your bill and leave. I WILL never eat here again as he didn’t care at all about how we felt. No apology, no I’m sorry it took so long , just “that’s how it works in small businesses “ and “we were busy”. I would give it less then 1 star but 1 is as low...

Waitress did not speak a single word to us when we walked in, even when seated, not a single word.

There was 4 of us, she only gave us 2 menus, and 3 glasses of water. She left a piece of paper and a pen, did not say a word what we were suppose to do with it. We then wrote our orders on it, she comes by and grabs it and leaves not giving us a single chance to ask any questions about the menu.

It was difficult to flag her down to get another glass of water, when we finally asked she just replies "ok."

When we finally got our orders, she dropped everything at the table and never came back once throughout the meal to ask if we need anything or how the food was.

Overall horrible service, the whole experience was awkward and we felt extremely not welcomed at all. Other customers looked like they were having the same experience with the waitress.

The food was good, the portion size of the meat wasn't a whole lot.

Stick to Pho Hoang Restaurant once they're done renovations, don't bother...
