The place and atmosphere were really nice. It's a spot where you can truly relax, enjoy your meal, and have a conversation without feeling rushed. The ceiling décor adds a touch of character and makes for a good conversation starter. I liked it. The service was great; our server knew the menu well, which really helped us on ordering. We ordered the baby back ribs with marinara, and the taste was just okay ,the ribs a bit dry--it could be better I guess. As for the seafood fettuccine Alfredo, was just fine-- I found the sauce a bit bland for my taste, so I asked for salt and extra parmesan. No complaints, just personal preference. The portions were generous. Both of our dishes came with a choice of salad or soup, bread, ice cream, and coffee or tea. The bread was amazing—fresh, warm, and comforting. The spumoni ice cream was a highlight with its colorful layers and flavors, a great way to end the meal. The home-blend coffee was a nice touch too. They served the ice cream and coffee at the same time ( was joking a friend that I wasn't sure if I should mix them like an affogato ), but it was definitely a hit. However, when time to get the bill, we had to wait a bit longer than expected. But the pricing was fair. What makes it memorable for me is not just about the food, but the overall dining experience. It’s the kind of place where the atmosphere invites meaningful conversations and leisurely moments. The relaxed vibe, combined with the warm ambiance, makes it feel like a home away from home. The staff contribute to this welcoming environment with their friendly smiles and positive energy, which add an extra layer of comfort to the meal. It’s not just about what’s on the plate; it’s about the entire experience of enjoying good food in a space where everything feels easygoing and unhurried. It’s the perfect place to unwind and simply enjoy the company you’re with.

This was my first time going and I can say it was not the best experience. My food- the chicken Alfredo ravioli was delicious but the portions are a tad small and the whole overall experience was not good. Yes it was busy but we waited over 23 minutes fir our water and drinks, I actually had to go and ask for it from another server. I had my 3.5 old daughter with me and out food took almost 40 minutes. She kept saying how hungry she was. We only got our starters 5 minutes before our main. I had asked another server (since ours barely came around) if anything could she please see how long it was for my daughters chicken fingers she's really hungry. Our server was very overwhelmed and not fully paying attention. She admitted she zoned out and wanted to cry (which I felt bad for, but we suffered because of it). She did not get our orders right and after asking us many questions she still didn't seem to get it. When our food finally came nothing was given to the right person and two other dishes were brought to our table we didn't order (one which ended up on my bill). My dinner tasted really great except my daughter still didn't have her kids chicken fingers and fries because they brought out a lasagna we never ordered. So I think they had to rush to make her chicken fingers even though I had already asked about them previously. So her fries were undercooked and the honey dill tasted off. I didn't want to complain but I did ask about 3 times about my daughters food in particular cause she kept saying how hungry she was. So towards the end a manager came around and apologized for the long wait for the kids meal and said she'd cover it. Ok that was great considering my daughter barely touched it. If it wasn't for having my daughter I would have been a bit more understanding. I get when a restaurant is busy but 25 minutes for drinks, 40 minutes for our starter, and dirty cutlery do not make for a happy experience. Not to mention our server being very off on our order and our bill and just seeming lost the whole time. I walked away paying $100 still for 3 meals and 2 drinks. My bill had to be adjusted because I was being charged even more than that fir things I didn't order. Too much for a not good experience in my eyes. So maybe avoid if this place is super busy.

This is what its call amazing first impression. After few days around the airport with no much to do around me and my coworkers decided to hit downtown and while walking around found TOSF. First impression was wow soooo cool the vibes, it was like going back into the 50s or something like that, the decoration it's like retro style. the Host very nice and our server even better. We got the menus and very cool also, it was like a very old style newspaper. While reading I couldn't believe my eyes, it says everything is included and when they say everything was EVERYTHING. We got a very tasty warm bread, soup or salad with an option for 3 dollars to upgrade either or plus the main course. Someone order chicken parm, other linguine, and other seafood pasta and WOWWWWW. It was actually very good every plate. We also ordered house wines and beers and drinks were super cheap and very tasty despite been the house wine which usually sucks but not in here. After finishing eating we were surprised with a question if we wanted , coffee, ice tea or ice cream, it was also included, we were like WHAT???? also dessert couldn’t believe. Seriously we were so impresses with everything on this restaurant, we need them ASAP in the US. We had such an amazing time that before we leave Winnipeg we definitely are returning back. KUDOS for TOSF, very good job with all the amazing services, delicious food and super affordable.. 100 % Recommended.

I have lots of childhood memories of this place. As an adult I order the mizithra cheese with browned butter sauce for my spaghetti. The best thing about this place is, everything is included. Bread, a starter (soup or salad), the main course, dessert (ice cream) and tea or coffee. The bread comes out fresh and hot at the table. The salad was ok. We upgraded to French onion soup for the other starter ($2.50 surcharge). The soup broth was great but it did lack a bit of cheese. Service was very good. The only thing is our server didn't mention how much the surcharge for factory size was. Brand of tea they use is higgens and Burke. This location is inside the Johnston terminal, in the forks. Note: we upgraded to factory size. Cost to upgrade is $7.95. so I guess that's just them adding a second entree on to our bill (it read as second entree) Food is solid. Pricing is fine to good. Had the factory sizes been less I would have given it a better rating because they are close to a 5 but missing just a touch. Still this is a solid choice for dinner for those who want a full meal with all the extras.

Had dinner here. It seemed a bit unorganized. I had what seemed to be a seasoned waitress but she neglected to tell us what was part of a kids meal and ended up double ordering some parts of a kid menu. I found that to be a bit annoying. Dishes were never cleared from the table so I kept javing to jockey plates to make room for new dishes coming in and quickly ran out of room. No one seemed to care that there was a man who kept dropping F bombs that would be heard across the while dining area. The above described reasons is probably why I wouldn't be coming back here, which is unfortunate. The portions themselves seemed small for what you're paying so the value isn't quite there either. When we were getting a second fresh bread brought out, the waitress was holding it by the knife handle which was in the bread but as if she was going to stab someone with the plate where the bread goes in the other hand. I wasn't impressed with the nature of how aggressive that seemed being served that way. I'm sure that's not how to present any food at a restaurant.

First my daughter ordered lemon water, received water with no lemon. Was asked if we'd like more bread, about 1/2hr past, overhearing from a larger parties table apologies for extra long wait, their bill was to be discounted for the unusually long wait. Someone else other then our waiter brought out our food, at which time had to ask for bread as it was not brought out yet. The "new" seafood dish being advertised came with only 2 of the 4 clam shells having clam in tack, where as I was getting ready to mention noticed them amongst the pasta.. no big deal... $19.25 for pretty much 4 clams, 4 prawns and 3 or 4 very tiny scallops a little larger then a pea. To top it all off I ordered a coffee and my daughter ordered a tea, my daughter was served a decanter of hot water with a tea bag in a plastic kiddie cup!! Really! We were told there were no more cups...lol most ridiculous dining experience thus far. Usually enjoyed this restaurant but this time was left feeling very disappointed.
