This is a gorgeous location; sunny, cozy, warm, and a lovely destination after an enjoyable walk through the area. They had just opened this location when we'd gone -- so it was very very busy, which my daughter and I had expected. There was a line that moved quickly and the staff were doing their best while swamped. Tables can be hard to secure but there's plenty of seating near the coffee bar. Our drinks were okay. We've enjoyed better prepared drinks from the other locations, with more senior staff preparing our orders, however it was opening weekend at about 9am, so I understand it's a little chaotic at this time. The dishware here is gorgeous, and the environment is great for meeting friends or studying. The menu is much larger than the other locations but is pricey for what's offered. Definitely worth trying out, I am a major fan of their vegan chocolate Mochas. The pastries are fresh and tasty, I love the energy bars or a savory scone with my coffee. The milk alternatives are smashing, highly recommend the macadamia milk for those needing a non-dairy option. The drink menu is limited and simple, as with all locations, which I personally enjoy; I DO wish they offered a plain Matcha latte, rather than the matcha-chai offering but that's a minimal complaint. I find this drink to be nice but it simply is not a Matcha latte, I would love to see the drinks separated into their own lanes and to remove the non-dairy upcharge; to follow suit with Hildegards. Overall, this is a nice spot and you should all give it a shot. Kennedy or Sherbrook are my favourite spots and the quality of product is higher in these locations, so if this location is underwhelming don't write them off -- try Kennedy instead.

Americano coffee treated great for me, a touch sour but acceptable for my companion. Service was nice, friendly, and quick for me, but there was no lineup when I was ordering, so no stress. I asked to split my large Americano into two smaller ones as they didn't have large coffee cups, and they had no problems with doing that. Pastry selection was definitely lacking by the register. Just a single type each of muffin and cookies. Luckily, another staffer heard me comment, "Is that all?" and brought up that they had cake, Peach Almond cake. Taste was fine, but it was a pretty dense cake, like bread pudding (coincidently, the receipt listed this as "bread"). I am still thankful to have it to go with the coffee. The room and vibe were comfortable with great tunes coming over the room's 4 mounted Sono speakers. Nice wall decorations. Very electronics-friendly with the plethora of wall outlets in the benches around the room. Lots of free street parking around this area. I am definitely coming back here again.

The atmosphere for working or reading is accumulate, the interior design is beautiful, the bathrooms are easy to use after you figure out you need a key for them- which is located on a window still by the bar. I would give working here a 5/5 if you get a table and base it solely on wanting to sit and chat, work or read. However, the food and drinks lack in my opinion. The scone I got was okay 3.5/5- but it was overally salty, they charge $10 for okay looking sandwiches and toast. The matcha Latte I got was definitely the worst I've had in a cafe setting thus far- it was cute but definitely not good 2/5. I would love to come back based on the work atmosphere and how much I was personally able to get done here but the food and drinks to stay for a long time are unfortunate.

Me and my girlfriend just visited the Corydon location right before 11am today. We’ve been loving Thom Bargen for years. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff today. He was taking orders and the other two girls were making coffees. We walked in then asked if the person standing in front of the door was in line and we waited for our turn. He did not seem very happy when taking our orders already(I’m not sure why). After we placed our orders we saw there were these Thom Bargen sweaters so we were looking at them. We let people went ahead then we went to the counter when no one was behind. We asked how much was the sweater cause there was no price tag attached. He again unpleasantly checked for us and we saw the price then decided we will not buy it today. After we told him that sorry we don’t want it anymore he told us there was a line behind us(meaning he thought we cut the line??) The whole experience was very strange. He was not happy the second when he saw us. Was it because he did not want to work this shift? Is he going through something? Was it because we were speaking our language? Is it because we are minorities? Or was it a simple misunderstanding? I have no idea. It’s just unfortunate that we had this unpleasant experience on this beautiful sunny day. Hopefully no one else experienced/is experiencing/will experience this kind of attitude at your coffee shop. Happy...
