Our visit to Tommy's Pizzeria was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The cozy and inviting ambiance made us feel right at home, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles and excellent service throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food—the highlight of our evening. We couldn't resist trying their renowned Detroit Style Pizza, and it lived up to its reputation! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside, providing a wonderful foundation for the mouthwatering toppings. For starters, we ordered the Bruschetta, and we were blown away by its fantastic flavors. The tomatoes were fresh and bursting with taste, while the sour dough bread added a delightful crunch. It was the ideal appetizer to whet our appetites for the main event. My wife opted for the Prosciutto Pear pizza, and she couldn't stop raving about it. The combination of the savory prosciutto and the sweetness of ripe pears was a match made in pizza heaven. The flavors were well-balanced and left us wanting more. I went for the Randazzo pizza, and it certainly did not disappoint. The blend of Italian sausage, Peppadew peppers, and gooey cheese made every bite a scrumptious delight. The ingredients were of top-notch quality, and the pizza had the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Even our little one, who usually sticks to simple choices, couldn't resist the temptation of trying their pepperoni pizza. And it turned out to be "the best pepperoni pizza in the city" according to our son. High praise from a discerning young pizza lover! Overall, our dining experience at Tommy's Pizzeria was exceptional, and we are already planning our next visit. The wonderful variety of pizzas and the skillful execution of each dish left us impressed and craving for more. If you're a pizza enthusiast or simply enjoy mouthwatering food served with genuine hospitality, do yourself a favor and visit Tommy's Pizzeria. You won't be disappointed! A big thank you to the entire staff and the chef at Tommy's for making our evening memorable. We eagerly look forward to returning and exploring more of their delectable menu.

We were visiting Winnipeg to see my friend and decided to stop by this pizzeria. Regrettably, the service provided by the staffs was deeply disappointing. We ordered two pizzas, but one of them never arrived. We only realized much later that the item had been completely missed. When we asked our server about it, not only did we receive no apology, but we were also given no explanation as to whether our missing pizza was being prepared or had been canceled. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to wait indefinitely. We also asked if they had ketchup and hot sauce, and while they did bring us the condiments(buffalo sauce), we were shocked to find that an additional $3 had been charged for them when we received the final bill. We didn't even order the buffalo sauce. Just asked the Hot sauce. At no point were we informed that there would be an extra charge, which felt misleading and unfair. In addition, while we were still eating, it became clear that the servers were preoccupied with preparing for a large group reservation. They noisily set up tables right behind us and completely ignored our request for water. The overall dining environment became increasingly unpleasant. However, what shocked us the most was that the bill was brought to us while we were still eating. I was literally in the middle of eating my pizza when we were asked to pay from the server. I felt like we needed to leave because they needed the table for the group. Moreover, we happened to see the kitchen area on the second floor and noticed that the tool used to remove the pizzas was being placed directly on top of the oven, which looked really dusty and gross. We were shocked so we took a picture. This raised concerns about hygiene a lot. We came here expecting to enjoy a special dinner together as friends, but ended up feeling deeply disrespected and upset. My friend even felt sorry to us. I don’t think I will ever return to this place again.

I'll keep it simple. The pizza which we had was the cacciatore. Literally was just dry dry dough with cheese on it with a little bit of sauce, a little bit of meat and some basil leaves on top. I had to ask for some olive oil and for marinara sauce on the side but I guess the kitchen closed down and I guess the sauce is sealed in a vault which I can't just pour into a little side cup. All good I get it is late. So too keep it simple and not tear it down, dry ass pizza, no flavor, came out cold to us, and this is supposed to be New York thin crust.??? I've been to New York. I don't know how many times and I never seen a pizza like this in New York or anywhere else in the world and to say Italian trained?? I don't now what part of Italy this is from? I've been all over Italy, Europe etc and I've yet to find this typa spot. This was thick like Papa John's pizza, Little Caesars had more flavor tbh. I've had pizza all over the world. If you want pizza, Montreal that's real Pizza, Fellas pizzeria on Osborne, That's real,, Vera Pizza etc (last 2 are in Wpg, fr Try them!!!!). We also had the pasta, we wanted the Alfredo gnocchi but they ran out of Alfredo sauce and that's all good, We were late and pretty much the last customers so I understand running out of supplies sometimes and they were able to work around us and get what we wanted but the quality is just not there. Pasta was okay and the pizza, well nuff said. But the patio is amazing!! as I've been going there since the original days when it's opened by boys from ROME!! Unfortunately they gave it to this business and it's not the same but beautiful patio. Beautiful atmosphere. The servers do their best for what they can. And yeah that's it. Won't be back there ever again. I knew from the beginning but I had to give it a try cuz I can't be biased and without trying it once

Tonight, this was my first night out doing a double date. Usually, we don't do reviews, but unfortunately we're quite disappointed in the customer service we received all around with very bland food from start to finish.

We are in a pandemic, restaurants are required to ask for our "Vaccine passport" for proof of being double vaccinated. We were not asked, no one was asked. There was approx 40-50 people in there.

Once we were in the restaurant, we were brought up to their higher level and it was an incredibly long wait for the food, where we were not notified. After we placed our order, our server came back 30 minutes later to inform us our food would take a "bit longer". We then waited an additional hour to realize our food wasn't coming.

After the hour, we went downstairs to make a formal complaint to our server, letting them know we were disappointed that it's taken this long for our food. Then they snapped at me saying it's a busy night and they apparently informed us that the food was going to take a while. I rejected that because that's not what they said previously and only made that remark 30 minutes after the food was placed. I was a little upset and embarrassed at that point because we had first made a reservation, then the server showed no customer service and with little remorse, said, "we're doing our doing best".

We did appreciate that the chef acknowledge the issue on our wait time, but this was only after when we were considering leaving.

Once they did bring the food, she threw it passive aggressively. Towards the end, we were informed that they were short staffed which we understand. What we were not okay with is how we were treated on the wait time, considering we did make reservations and the servers could have had better mannerisms.

Seriously, for a "pizza place" I can honestly say, I would prefer to eat a 5.50$ Frozen Pizza made by Delissio. This $22.00 pizza had no sauce, burnt crust and should have cost approx...
