Two Kelly's Cafe — Restaurant in Winnipeg

The food is good and the service is amazing... Not in the "waiter doting over you sense", but in the sense that I felt valued as more than just a customer. I felt like I was brought into Kelly's family while there - Speaking of Kelly, she has an amazing, bright, friendly, and bubbly personality, and both my girlfriend and I found ourselves laughing or chortling at jokes both overheard and shared with us. It kind of felt like being home but with strangers you've known for a while. A very unique experience that I'm thankful for.

I had the classic breakfast, which was good. Eggs were cooked perfectly, but the hashbrowns were a little bland and dry, which is my only complaint that easily I resolved with some ketchup.

My girlfriend had the Philly cheese, which she says was excellent. The home made fries were absolutely incredible +I couldn't help but steal some) - flavourful and perfectly crispy.

We also shared a fried cinnamon roll, which was perfectly toasted and warm.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor, just inside Fort Garry Place, immediately on your right after using the entrance behind the fort Garry hotel (in the lane/loading area that runs between the hotel and ft...

2Kellys is one of those places you never knew you were missing out on! Always loaded with positive vibes and Kelly’s unmistakeable laugh (it’ll blow your ears off so fair warning!😉) This place is one of Wpg’s best hidden gems! The food is always DELICIOUS, fresh and hot and ALWAYS worth the rare, occasional short wait for it…when you support a small local 2 person show, sometimes these things happen..no big deal! Kelly’s upbeat, positive, often boisterous energy along with her uncanny ability to remember you AND your orders make this place the BEST breakfast/lunch place in downtown Wpg, 100%!! We came for breakfast and found the food superlative and the hospitality warm and inviting. Kelly is a gem and makes everyone feel right at home. They even have a bell at the counter so you can ring it if you want slower service!

The Classic Breakfast is really tasty and perfectly-prepared. We had basted eggs with their hashbrowns, toast and bacon. When I asked Kelly for crisp bacon she replied "Brittle-crisp?" THAT'S SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEIR BACON. My wife had ham with her delicious eggs and hash browns. A grilled cinnamon bun from Gunn's was our appetizer and was the perfect appetizer while we waited for our really flavourful breakfast. Of course, coffee came on arrival and kept getting refilled without any prompting.
