Fresh beyond belief. These donuts basically melt in your mouth and best eaten fresh. Price tag is a tad high though

Read moreMy partner, friends and I have started this amazing tradition where whenever we travel for powerlifting competitions we stop at local doughnut shops and this time around it was Oh Doughnuts in Winnipeg.
We got a dozen doughnuts during our visit, one box for us and one box to share and make friends with.
I had chosen the skor and the lemon meringue doughnut. The filled doughnuts at Oh Doughnuts are definitely generous with their filling and all 3 of us had our fillings over fill and either fall out or almost while we were eating them. I should mention that while most of the doughnuts are your typical sweet doughnuts, Oh Doughnuts did have a Everything doughnut that was savory and delicious and would be the perfect for breakfast... everyday! My doughnuts were great. The doughnuts aren't the fluffiest doughnuts I have ever had but also not the most deep fried or dense. I would say that they are a good medium based doughnut that is better than your typical safeway doughnut but still have a slight deep fried grease texture to them.
Oh Doughnuts also have a HUGE selection comparatively to most speciality doughnut shops that have their daily 6 to 10 doughnuts. Picking was hard! The girl that was working that day was super sweet and helpful though. If you ever end up in Winnipeg, or maybe you live here, make sure you go visit and have a...
Read moreI got really excited when I heard they create an Ube donut. A colleague of mine said he ate one by accident at a staff party and said he went to heaven and came back after it was all gone. I immediately took time off to go get me an Ube donut! But when I arrived, it was actually closed just before 1pm?! Until I find out later it is probably because they sell out which is a good thing on their end. Eventually from their IG account I saw them make the Ube donut again and it was religiously delicious! I should've bought them all haha at the time but only got 2 and it doesn't seem like a normal flavor there. You must try their doughnuts at least once, I have tried their other flavors i call it the "homer simpson donut" I can't remember the actual name but it is pink all over and has sprinkles of blue, yellow, white and red I think. The Ferrero Rocher is very tasty too and you know us Filipinos we love that stuff! haha. The times are a hit and miss, but if you enjoy doughnuts, especially theirs then try to pre order a batch so you don't have to worry about them selling out on the day you crave for a soft sweet tasty donut. A bonus if you get there while they are freshly baked. I haven't yet but my donut addict friends tell me their sweet adventures as they stop in for their morning...
