Just a comment about an experience today not the food.Received an email offer for National Burger week of buy a Dave's single max 2 for 2$.Wow !but with a disclaimer at participating Canadian restaurants. Not one of the five Winnipeg Wendy's is a participating restaurant. Was told at the two Wendy's l personally went to that this offer only applied in the USA.l informed one friendly manager that that was false, he later said to me in the US they were offering the burger for fifty cents.I then stated l thought you stated the offer l showed you on my email was 2 bucks in USA. He then back back back tracked with some nonsense concerning a 3rd party not Wendy's puts out the promotion. This is the 3rd time l have encountered advertising by fast chains in Winnipeg not participating in promotions the others were Subway and KFC.Dont know how others feel about these promos that are not being honored but it...
Read moreWent here for the first time at around 5:40pm today. Had 2 seperate orders. Was handed my first order and then when I thought I'd be getting our second order, the employee closes the window and walks away. I tried to get her attention by yelling hi and even honking the horn but all your staff ignored us. Which you would thinknis hard to beleive seeing how there were 4 of them doing nothing. We waited for our second order for about another 3-4 minutes. Then we didn't get straws and we honked again, and was ignored. Train your staff better because they shouldn't be turning their backs and walking away until those at the drive thru have their accurate order. The manager for the night "gave me the look" when I requested for such. I spoke to her politely and explained to her my son's condition. Apparently though, according to her, she hasn't heard yet of Special Needs, in my son's case, Autism.
Maybe it would do your store good if crew training can include subject matters like that to better equip them with broader understanding and the appropriate empathic response to customers with disabilities or...
