First of all I only get Wendy's delivered via skipthedishes so I've never set foot inside the building and can't comment on that. I will say they are a bit more pricier compared to other fast food places, but the fact I can eat their food and still lose weights makes me only want to order from them. They easily provide a no-bun option and supplement fries for a salad (don't eat the croutons), so I can happily enjoy a flavorful meal while staying in ketosis (ketogenic diet).
The one thing I've learned however is to avoid their drinks. It's not the drinks fault but the employees. Keep in mind you should never drink soda ever, but sometimes that bubbly bite is nice. For whatever health reason that you need to avoid sugar chances are you order a diet or zero soda. This is where the stupid workers come in. Too many times they give me a full cup of full sugar soda, or worse, they like to mix the diet version with the regular in one cup and nearly trick you.
Unless you can see them physically pour it in, don't trust it. The last thing you need is tons of sugar in your body you didn't ask for.
Just stick with a good juicy burger, maybe a salad if you want, but have you're own drink at hand if, like I said, there's a reason you can't consume sugar.
Prior to my diet, I did it their fries and it was a hit or miss. Some days it was salty goodness, other days it was unsalted stale logs. They really need to step up...
Read moreHad a horrid experience at this location. The people making the meals constantly touch chicken and other food items without changing gloves.
They don't wash their hands whenever working on allergy orders, and think that picking up a allergen and putting it in a container, then removing it and continuing with the allergy alert item is perfectly fine.
Once we pointed out that the allergy alert item was contaminated, the person who prepared it got defensive and started yelling. They then through our entire order out, 6 items. They changed gloves to remake the allergy item, but didn't wash their hands.
When we asked the managers who had their food handles do not know what a food handlers certificate is or what the protocol for allergy alert orders are. We were given one of our frosties, with liquids running down the side, which made a big puddle on the counter.
Our broccoli cheese potatoes had no broccoli. It took three different people to get us the rest of our frosties, and one of them had to be remade because of the same problem as the first one.
While we were being mis-served, more than 10 people left because of the ridiculous waiting time and being repeatedly told to go to the back if the line after being called up to order.
All in all, this location is a gong show. If you value your life, do not eat here....
Read moreI wanted to post a review on this Wendy’s/Tim Hortons location to warn everyone how filthy this establishment is. I was there this evening and there was only one other customer in the building… all the tables were filthy dirty covered in old food scraps and wet from old drink spillage. Nobody was cleaning. We had ordered food and we tried to find a place to eat and there was no where. We used the washroom and it was so disgusting I’m sure it defies all public health codes! Feces all over, broken lights, handi cap button not working, loose toilet seat and general filth from not being cleaned in some time. It made us so nauseated we had to leave and we left our food because if the place is like that what the heck is the cooking area like??? I reported this to the manager and nothing was done. Beware! Update from the little I did eat I have been feeling super nauseated...
