I ordered a Footlong Hot Dog, Frings, and a Strawberry Milkshake

Hot dog - I believe the standard comes with Relish, Fried onions and Honey mustard. I elected for no relish. I expected the hot dog itself to be a bit thicker but it had a nice taste and snap on on the casing. The Honey Mustard was standout, it had a very mellow taste and the sweetness really complimented the saltiness of the hot dog and the onions. The bun could have been toasted a bit more and didn't taste the freshest, but didn't hamper the experience too much

Frings - I was debating on ordering one of their specialty fries (Fritz Royale) but decided to get Frings, and I'm glad I did! The onion rings were standout. Extremely crispy and the batter was well seasoned. None of the rings in my meal had the problem where you take a bite and the whole onion gets pulled out. These were well made. The fries were also good, could have used a bit more salt. The fry experience was slightly hampered by the fact that they didn't ask if I wanted any ketchup or other condiments for them, and there were none included in the bag. The fries were still good without any condiments however, so they don't loose too many points on that.

Milkshake - Either they have the quietest blender I have ever heard or they pre-blended some of their more popular flavors so they wouldn't be caught in a rush. It wasn't very thick and tasted just like Chapman's strawberry (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but the flavor was pretty weak. Overall the weakest part of the meal by far (but I would definitely be willing to try another flavour the next time I come, probably maple. That sounds interesting and you don't see that around in too many places so bonus points on that)

Overall a very pleasant experience and the employees were very nice and seemed to be having a good time. Thanks...

I don't understand how anyone calls this place too expensive. Large fry 2 burgers Fish and chips Milkshake $38 and wasn't even promoted for a tip. I can't even go to McDonald's for that price anymore.

The food is classic dinner type experience. You know what you're getting and can expect a good meal every time you go. The burgers were good and the fish was crisp. The maple milk shake had intense maple flavor and was a large size. I'd prefer crisper fries but I'll just make sure to ask for that next time I go.

While there I believe the owner was training a younger female staff member. He was quiet and kind and didn't get frustrated when she got things incorrect. I've worked in the food industry and it's fast paced and difficult. It's nice to see someone can train staff without being rude to them.

My family and I will definitely...

Was working in the area, and saw the good reviews and novelty items, so I figured I would give it a try. The lady at the counter finished taking an order, while I was next in line, turned her back, and took the store phone (wasn't ringing), without saying a word. One young lady took my order and another one called me when my order was ready. Both were rude. Would it kill you ladies to smile, or be slightly pleasant? Customer service was lacking. The small sweet potato poutine came in a basket lined with paper, which was kind of annoying to eat out of (trying not to rip it or eat paper). It tasted ok, but was truly small and definitely not worth $7. Alot of reviews say the pricing is good, but I think $7 could go alot further, elsewhere. Don't see the hype, and would not return or...

In Woodstock for work for a week, figured I’d try out a new place every day, Fritzie’s was the first choice. Ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it, onion rings and a chocolate shake. The cheeseburger was fantastic, the onions just as fantastic. Very tasty, well cooked, and just a very good burger. Unfortunately, the chocolate milkshake seemed almost runny, like it was very watered down. I’ll be back again, likely the end of the week, because as I said, the food was great. It was just sad about the milkshake.

Fritzie's is my favourite place to eat in Woodstock. They sell Schnieder's products so you know the food will be good. They have fresh cut fries (and the best in Woodstock IMO). My favourite menu item is the footlong. The fried onions are amazing and it's one of the only places I've been to that offers Oktoberfest mustard. The best part is Fritzie's is local and family owned since the 70's. Independent places like this are getting harder to find, Fritzie's is a true Woodstock institution.
