This Woodstock Museum National Historic Site is one of my favourite sports in Woodstock, Ontario. It's located right at the Downtown Woodstock. It's a nice spacious outdoor space with a nice water fountain, and the historic museum building itself looks amazing and beautiful archititure. Moreover, during December, they transformed this space into a Santa House. There is a Santa Mailbox that you can mail to Santa, there are Christmas lights all over this area, it's LIT during the evening. I read on its site that they have horse sled ride as well, but I don't know what happen during this pandemic. This is so beautiful, Luv this spot!

A neat, local museum that is worth checking out if you’re in the area! First floor as of currently, is a temporary science section. The second floor has local history information and was interesting! I was thinking it’d be neat if the second floor had soft music playing in the background. It’s so quiet up there! A little too quiet. Or a mini projector theatre to view a historical video? Some ideas 😊 Had a wonderful time visiting! Note- Admission is by donation only

A decent, well presented museum experience. Lots of local history in social, economical and wartime artifacts and displays.

From the outside, this place looks average but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's actually a very well run establishment with some very smart and creative people. There's lots of activities to do here with the family and a lot of history to be learned about the local area. There are several interactive displays and lots of information to learn about without being overwhelming. The place is always tidy. There's also a little area where you can buy Woodstock branded items. For the size of Woodstock, this place is great! It's certainly worth the visit to discover what's made...

We went for a day trip to Woodstock from Toronto. Museums are not my thing but this small museum was informative about the people & history of the area. There’s no entrance fee. There is temporary fencing around the museum so we were not sure whether it was open till we walked right up to the entrance. There was 1 handicapped person in our party of 4 so better signage on whether it was open would have been helpful. Having said that, the museum does have an elevator and is...
