Nigerian Restaurant Santa Maria — Restaurant in Sal

Looking carefully at all the reviews of this restaurant, I was keen to come and try the food. Arriving at the restaurant immediately there was a relaxed vibe, sort of like visiting a good friend's place. The host and chef, Precious, came to welcome me and go through the menu. Precious is warm and kind hearted. You can tell this when she tells you about the food. And you can experience this when you taste the food. I had Jollof rice and chicken. I thought I had tried good Jollof rice before, but this was a different level of deliciousness. All in all, a brilliant meal at this...

Going all the way to another country and being able to have your native food and comforts are great! This place gave me my first proper meal because I was finding it hard to eat. The lady who owns the restaurant is so lovely also, and she's not working with a lot of equipment, yet she cooks such great food and delivers every time! I went daily so she gave me her number so I could request something during the day and pick it up later....

the sign has a different name than Google reviews, prices are double what the reviews say, and the food all looks different/served different than reviews- maybe a rebrand happened ? wasn’t worth the high price though- jollof rice was cold, not flavorful, tasted like it was just reheated from yesterday. also the waiter came back out a while after we had paid to say she didn’t charge for the water which we didn’t...
