Marea — Restaurant in Sal

The best description of this place is Italian fine dinning. No pizza or gelato! It's a small restaurant, some may consider the menu is a little limited. But it's all excellent and beautifully presented. They offer complimentary extras twice during the meal. Bread and dips etc to start and then some little sweet treats to finish. Our only minor criticism is they did not entertain the idea of amending their dishes. A request for vegetables to accompany a pasta dish was refused. Booking is a good idea and it's a few blocks off of the main street so you may want to practice finding it...

Highly recommend you all to give this place a visit if you have the opportunity. Probably need to make a reservation in advance but definetly worth it. Service was perfect from start to finish. The food was something special with beautiful presentations and delicious flavours. Everything is homemade with love and you can really feel that. Three course dinner with wine for two persons was less than 80 euro in total.

Definitely the best Capo Verde Sal island can offer. We chose this place for dinner based on the reviews and it was worth it. Restaurant is a bit off-located from the main streets which ensures more peacefull environment. The dishes were beautiful, sizable and most importantly tasted like heaven.
