Good cocktails but too bad you leave feeling cheated as a customer about them charging a 2 euro surcharge to pay with "international cards" which was the only place on Sal to charge anything what so ever for paying with Visa/Mastercard during our trip and which frankly feels ridiculous in the year 2021.
I always feel suspicious about a place trying to get their customers to pay in cash. Maybe the Cape Verdean Tax Authority should look up this place?
The feeling of being cheated increases when you discover that they only have the menu in Portugese, presumably so they can add extra for the tonic in the Gin and Tonic menu for the 80% of customers who do not speak or read Portugese. Which makes the Gin and Tonic cost about as much or more as back in Europe. I wouldn't mind paying well for a great cocktail but then be honest about the price.
