The Bounty Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Sal

Arrived for lunch with my husband and two children after calling first to ask if we needed to book or could just walk in and be seated. Sat for 20 odd mins waiting for a table, decided just to go for a table inside to save the waiting, sat down with menus, we managed to get some drinks ordered after a while as there was no body coming to ask us, drinks came and one was wrong, they did fix that quickly to be fair, we began ordering our food only to be told most of the stuff wasnt avaible which was fine, we chose other stuff. Starters arrived and was decent, we then sat and waited for about half an hour until we started asking where the rest of the meal was, pretty sure there was some mess up, as people who came in after us seemed to be getting their meals firstly, ordered some white wine which came and was warm, again they did fix that, food eventually came and was decent, didnt bother with desert, got the bill and that was wrong but again was rectified. In all it was not a cheap meal and you would certainly expect better training for the staff, nice bunch of people but wont be going back in a hurry, you can get a great feed along the beach for half the price with great service.oh also asked for a taxi at the end which never showed which was another 30 mins in total! Ended up walking...

The view is excellent and food good, but this was the worst venue for customer service after our meal where it took an HOUR to get the bill correct, and we were all FULL BOARD! We gave our room numbers and wrote down exactly what we each had as we needed individual room charges rather than paying as a group. There was only four if us. In the end after an hour we walked away back to the hotel, but we were forced back by a member of staff complaining about us trying to leave. Only then was a member of staff from the main hotel bought over to operate the till which took them only a few seconds. It turned out the original member of staff was new, and did not want to get in trouble - but could not operate the till even with the help of the kitchen and serving staff. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and chose the “Sensations by the Stars” experience. It was simply magical — a dinner set up right on the beach, feet in the sand, with a lovely decoration of lights, seashells, and a cozy spot to just relax and gaze at the stars.

Our server, Jery, truly made the evening special. He was so attentive, kind, and gentlemanly — really going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Special thanks to him!

The dinner itself was excellent: we had prawns, tuna tartare, a ribeye steak, and a chocolate cake, along with a surprise birthday cake. Everything was delicious.

For a romantic occasion, a birthday, or simply to surprise your significant other, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful evening. My husband absolutely loved it,...
