I had ceviche and a sangria, which cost 21120. I only had 20000 notes so I gave 40000 and a handful of coins. They only gave me 10000 in change without a receipt. I don't have the patience to argue over this, but it's disgusting and they shouldn't be taking advantage of tourists like this.

The food was average. Avoid.

Edit: lol the restaurant is now trying to defend its mistake. First they said the cameras don't lie, now they said I asked to be given back 10,000? Why on earth would any customer ask for that? Ridiculous behaviour, eat elsewhere in Barrio Italia, you'll be much better for it. You can look for other recent poor reviews which also show them stealing from other tourists I wish I had gone to El Gusto Peruano instead.

If this was an honest business it would try to solve the problem instead of continuing to lie and antagonize...

An amazing restaurant with a great menu and fantastic staff! If you dare ask why restaurant is named Winnipeg, it isn't to do with the Canadian city. It is a restaurant in a wealth of history of a cargo sailing sea ship helping immigrants from the civil war and concentration camps of Franco's Spain to escape. Going back to why you find yourself here, we had the Chilean delicacies of Machas a la parmesana (clams briefly grilled topped with parmesan cheese) and being seafood lovers had the Pastel de Jaiba (crab pie) an incredible amount of brown crab, topped with cheese. The pisco sours were delicious and some of the best in town and the wine list good, (casa Silva vineyard is fantastic, and inexpensive at around £12/15$) a bottle .. a lovely atmosphere. I'll...

Antes de conocer el nuevo local en Barrio Italia, acostumbrábamos ir a almorzar al local de Franklin. Nos encantaba lo pintoresco que era el Restaurant con su decoración, la calidad de la atención y que la comida era deliciosa, además de su sencillez. Incluso durante el 2020 encargamos sus paellas maravillosas a domicilio, porque extrañábamos ese sabor inconfundible.

Hoy fuimos a celebrar nuestro aniversario. Nos encantó el nuevo Restaurant en Barrio Italia. La comida continúa siendo maravillosa y es “acogedor” dentro de lo que se espera de este barrio gentrificado. Pero, desafortunadamente, la atención ya no es la misma. La chica que nos atendió era buena onda, pero me sentí engañada por ella. Cuando ordenamos, pedimos un chardonnay Caiti Del Valle del Maipo. Ella nos dijo que no había, pero que tenian otros 3 tipos de vino. Nos trajo las botellas a la mesa. Le consulté por la variación en el precio, a lo cual ella respondió “no más de $1.500-$2.000 pesos”. Ok, perfecto entonces. La botella que queríamos originalmente costaba $10.900, por lo que 12.900 no era tan terrible.

Sin embargo, al momento de pagar, el valor del vino era de $16.900. Le manifesté mi molestia, porque hay una gran diferencia entre $12.900 y 16.900. Ella nos pidió disculpas, pero ¿de qué sirve si el costo lo asumimos nosotros? Una falta de respeto con sus clientes. Ojalá capaciten a sus meseras/os, porque esto es inaceptable. Pagamos la cuenta, pues estábamos celebrando nuestro aniversario de matrimonio, en un lugar al que le teníamos cariño, pero lo ocurrido nos arruinó la tarde.
