Pizzeria Tiramisu in Santiago is a gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived for our 7:30 pm reservation, everything was seamless. We were seated immediately, and our waiter greeted us with a warm, joyful demeanor. He was polite, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home as he handed us the menus.
We began our meal with the sautéed shrimp skewers, and they were nothing short of heavenly. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor—a fantastic start to the evening.
For our main course, we opted for the Creola pizza, and it was a masterpiece. The pizza arrived piping hot, with a crust that struck the perfect balance—not too thick, not too thin, but just right. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, making every bite a delight.
To complement our meal, we sipped on refreshing mint lemonade, which was the ideal accompaniment to the rich and savory dishes. It was light, zesty, and perfectly balanced.
What truly impressed us was the value for money. The prices are very fair, especially considering the high quality of the food. The atmosphere at Pizzeria Tiramisu is casual, lively, and welcoming, making it a great spot for diners of all ages.
Overall, our experience at Pizzeria Tiramisu was exceptional. It’s a meal we’ll remember fondly from our time in Santiago. If you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a comfortable vibe, this is the place to go. Highly...
Read moreI just left this pizza place that was highly recommended to me and I have to say, the Caesar salad with chicken was quite impressive in terms of presentation as it was stunning and the portion size was generous. However, I have to take away one star and give it a 4-star rating due to the excessive amount of salt in the chicken.
The crispy bacon and Parmesan cheese in a salad inherently add saltiness, therefore, the seasoning on the chicken must be handled with care, taking into consideration the amount of salt that the chef intends to use. To make matters worse, the mini toasts were also salted which made it difficult to recognize the individual flavors. Overall, it was difficult to enjoy the dish properly due to the overwhelming saltiness.
The staff was friendly but they seemed to rush us a bit as we arrived almost at closing time. Despite this, the atmosphere was nice and I would consider returning to try some of their other dishes while I am in Santiago.
In summary, although the Caesar salad with chicken had a stunning presentation and generous portion size, the excessive amount of salt in the chicken took away from the overall experience. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere make it a place worth considering for a...
Read moreThe reviews do not lie!! This place is so good we went twice during our stay in Santiago. This place is the epitome of friendly, cozy, neighborhood restaurant. It is an enormous restaurant and only opens at 7pm, so make sure you get there at least by 6:45pm to wait for a table. The second time we went was closer to 7:30 and I think we waited for 10 minutes max. So do not let the wait intimidate you. It's normally not long and the food is worth it.
If you want a classic pizza the buffala pizza is the way to go. Simple marinara sauce, fresh basil, and buffala mozarella. The crust is perfect and has a nice crunch to it. The others within my party ordered the diavola, contadina, and the salamino. While I did not try these pizzas they looked amazing. I definitely recommend coming here if you have time. Pizza is authentic, environment is cozy, and the staff is lovely.
My only complaint about this place is that it's so big, I felt sometimes it's hard for the staff to keep up. We waited over 15 minutes for our menus and almost 45 minutes for food. The second time we went the service was much quicker, but the restaurant was...
