Tea Connection - El Golf — Restaurant in Las Condes

Tea connection was a great spot to be while waiting to check in to my hotel. The first thing I noticed was the ambiance. They were playing soft american pop music, art and artifacts decorated the walls, and the decor was a clean combination of wood, stone, glass and metal.

I recommend their "Brunch Salmón" because it includes many small portions of different savory flavors. You can tell they use high quality ingredients in the food. Plates and silverware are top notch. (Banana coffee was pretty good too)

The waitress was very accommodating of my requests to switch tables, to bring butter, and to see the menu a second time. My Spanish is decent, but there was no problem with falling back on English to clarify when needed.

All in all, I highly recommend. Tea Connection brightened and sustained my gray, weary morning...

Este fue el local donde hace 4 años le pedí matrimonio a mi señora y la verdad me había encantado por el buen servicio y la rica comida pero SE ECHARON A PERDER. Hoy volvimos por nuestro aniversario y la verdad me sentí muy mal atendido e incómodo. De partida al llegar a las 9 pm que (es una hora prudente) fuimos mal recibidos por el Garzón Antolín Hernández de muy mala gana y con cara de poto( será por la hora) ni idea. Muy poco cortés y muy cortante nos atendió pésimo. No solo eso, luego de pedir los platos de fondo y los postres nos apuró para irnos, casi como hostigamiento. Pedimos una jarra de jugo de maracuya limon y nos trajo de frutos rojos, estoy casi seguro que le hizo algo a la entrada de guacamole con nachos ya que lo vi devolverse a la cocina con el plato y luego volver a dejárnoslo por lo que nisiquiera lo probamos. Al comentarle a otra Garzona que por favor nos atendiera ella se acercó a este Garzón y le susurró todo lo que yo le pedí y nunca más volvió. Luego noté que todos los garzones susurraban, reían y nos miraban mucho. Fue muy incómoda la situación la verdad estuve obligado a pagar por un servicio que tampoco es barato y aguantar a un Garzón que nos atendió de mala manera y el bullying de todo el staff de garzones incluido el metre o anfitrión (no se que era el). Por ende gracias a esta experiencia NO VOLVEREMOS NUNCA MÁS Y RECOMENDAMOS NO CONSUMIR EN ESTE LOCAL.

La comida para dos personas nos costó 52 mil pesos con propina incluida y solo la dejé para no tener problemas con mi señora, si no fuera por ella no DEJO UN PESO.

Una pena porque la comida es rica pero queda COMPLETAMENTE OPACADA por el horrible servicio. Mejor gasto lo dinero donde lo aprecien y no en este local.

En resumen NO LO RECOMIENDO! PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA, mejor vayan a los pubs que hay al lado o ala Pizza Napoli donde te atienden 100 veces mejor. SI NO LES GUSTA TRABAJAR EN UN HORARIO VESPERTINO NO TRABAJEN! Deberían estar agradecidos de tener trabajo en esta pésima economía.

This place has a lot of potential: good food, cool decor... but the service just ruins it. We went for “Happy Hour” but it was more like “Miserable Hour”. The waitress interrupted our conversations to push us to order food several times, which was annoying. We had the intention to order food, but whenever WE were ready (and ultimately we did). Towards the end the waitress took the beer glass even though it still has beer in it - without even asking. And she expected a tip despite the unfriendly and unprofessional service she provided. Hm, no.

The attitude of the waiters in general was condescending. Won’t go...
