The hotel doesn’t offer made-to-order omelets (understandable), but the scrambled eggs in the supposedly hot buffet were almost cold on both occasions I had breakfast there (3/14/23 and 3/19/23). Can the temperature of the rechaud be increased? Also, when I was going to pay for my breakfast buffet in the morning of 3/14/23, even before I had started my breakfast, the lady in black leather attire at the cashier, asked if I was going to include my tip in the credit card payment. Tip is understandably expected, but it surprised me that it was being asked for even before I sat at the table and started having my breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was nice on my first stay (3/14/24), but poorly served on the second occasion (3/19/23). Few waiters/waitresses to serve the tables, so I had to wait and wait until I finally got the attention of someone. I requested a soft drink and some bread before my meal. The soft drink was poured into my glass, no ice was offered. To get the bread I had initially requested, I had to wait and wait until I finally stood up and asked what was going on. Only after complaining, a piece of bread (and also some ice for my soft drink) was brought to my table and served. I ordered the boneless chicken with a curry shrimp sauce, which has an accompaniment of a sweet potato purée. I asked one of the waiters if I could have white rice instead or if I could pay for an extra portion of rice, and the answer was no. Only after complaining to a different waiter, it was decided that they would substitute the sweet potato purée by white rice. At that time, my mood had been already ruined, and the waiter that was initially attending to my table decided not to show up anymore after my complaints. A different waiter continued serving me. And finally, after deciding that I was going to try the dessert suggested by the second waiter (volcano/lava cake with passion fruit ice cream), I was informed by the same waiter that they were short of that dessert. Well, nothing would surprise anymore after that series of...
Read moreLovely hotel. Room was spacious and clean. We have stayed 3 nights on the 11th floor for the special occasion. We could hear people slamming the door at late night, kids crying during night, so our sleep was constantly interrupted . Close to the shopping, transport, restaurants this hotel did ticked off the position requirement.
But, only on the first night we have been provided with 2 capsules for coffee. There wasn't instant coffee or tea provided in room. And two bottles of watter only provided at the very first day.. On the 3rd day towells have not been refreshed. Very basic things the hotel needs to improve.
Personals were friendly but there was a lots of inconsistencies and misleading. Our agent have told us we can add our Accor membership upon check in, but when we asked on the reception the answer was we can't add our Accor membership because booking is done by the agent!?
We paid 3 nights with breakfast but since we had to leave very early in morning afterr 3rd night, we have been told, on our very first night, we can take way packed breakfast, since we paid for it. Day before we left, one of them said it's OK to have take away breakfast box since we already paid for it, but another one wanted to charge us $20 US. What for if we have already paid it, please explain. So, we said NO.
Perhaps management has to do more work and train their staff at least to have some consistency!?
I don't think we would recommend or return to this Pullman hotel. Sorry guys, you...
Read moreReally nice hotel in safe area with AMAZING bedding! I am a hotel bedding connoisseur. I can’t stand synthetic fabrics. I could write a love poem to the bedding at the Pullman. Light, fluffy, perfect pillows, duvet was divine. When I was in other hotels in Chile I would dream about the Pullman bedding. ||Ok on to other aspects. Location was great, very safe, walkable to many restaurants and shopping. We stayed on 3 separate occasions during our 3 week trip. Two visits were outstanding. One sucked (except for the bedding). The one visit that wasn’t good, we had a cursed room on the 4th floor. The other 2 visits we were on the 12th floor. Not sure if that’s the difference. The bad visit, room 407, the shower didn’t drain, there was no coffee pods left for the machine, the A/C was humdrum and they didn’t fill the minibar. I mean it sucked on all fronts. I assume this is a housekeeping issue. The rooms on the 12th floor were great. ||The restaurant was nice and the chefs kindly prepared me an off menu meal one night when I wanted pure comfort food. The included breakfast was great. Fresh fruits and juices, cereals, breads and hot dishes. ||Front desk folks were very nice, except one lady when we complained about the 4th floor issues. ||I would stay again in a heartbeat but stay away from cursed 4th floor. And if someone from Pullman wants to tell me what their duvet bedding is I...
