Review for 2D1N La Barrosa tour
Cannot say enough great things about this experience. The service was incredible, we were looked after from the moment we arrived at the pier and the team at the estancia put a lot of care into preparing for our arrival, including understanding our individual level of experience riding and stocking way too many food options for dietary restrictions.
The group experience at the estancia was a lot of fun. We loved the herding dog demonstration and the bbq lamb lunch was insanely good.
The private ride and overnight stay at La Barrosa was magical, no other way to describe it. The views were stunning, we saw so much wildlife and riding up and down the mountain, through trees and over streams was so fun. The cabin itself is beautiful and serene.
Juan (our private guide) was amazing. We had one novice and one experienced rider and he helped cater to both of our levels so we had the best time. He was very knowledgeable, patient and a good cook too (made us local trout over the fire for our night at the cabin).

I did the Full Day Estancia La Peninsula tour, and it was a highlight of my trip to Patagonia. It was a perfectly relaxing day trip after spending 7 days in the Torres Del Paine National Park.
I was super lucky to have beautiful weather and see some Magellanic penguins from the boat. From the beginning to the end of this trip, it was absolutely magical. Donald was our estancia gaucho, boat driver, horseback ride guide, lamb barbecue carver, sheep shearer, and well I don't know if there is anything this guy doesn't do. He made all of the guests feel...
Read moreI can't recommend this place highly enough. I loved my time at the estancia. It's absolutely beautiful and the people are awesome. I did the two day horseback riding excursion and it was amazing!! We rode across the estancia and the horses were great - well trained and able to handle some pretty serious terrain. The estancia is full of beautiful hidden gems and it was so much fun to go explore and not feel like I was on an overly packaged, controlled tour and instead get to take our time and enjoy riding past all kinds of beautiful scenery. The guide, Trisha, was awesome and very knowledgeable. Whether you have one day or a few, this is a great way to experience some of the actual culture of the area and makes a great complement to time spent...
