Surista — Restaurant in Punta Arenas

We were staying in the hotel and were tired from traveling so we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. We were concerned that they only had 3 previous reviews, but luckily decided to try it anyway. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel and has the feel of a breakfast nook at any given hotel. We were attentively served, with that said many of the options on the wine list were not available. We decided with the limited wine available on a Carmenere that was just $10 USD and were pleasantly surprised that it was fairly decent. We ordered two appetizers - southern salad (amazing) and a king crab broth (very good) both were about $8 each. For dinner, two of us ordered the lamb ravioli (fantastic), and our son ordered the lasagna (larger than his head). For dessert we split a tiramisu. The food far and a way exceeded our expectations, and the bill for all of it was $70 with tip included. This place is an amazing value. Located in the hotel Almasur. Food was overall excellent for the table, the only exception was the Caesar salad, which was very mediocre and no salad dressing (they provided it on the side when asked). Do not doubt to choose this restaurant. The best choice in Punta Arenas. Good quality and cheap prices. We came to this restaurant to stay in this hotel and I give the highest rating to its food.
