Lola's — Restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama

So I got there, I see a goat cheese pizza, everybody knows what goat cheese is. I ask no basil no tomato just simple margemarita pizza with goat cheese. 25 min later come a pizza with gouda cheese and that weird strong smelly hard white cheap cheese with basil. I explain that's not what I order. Nobody do nothing about it. I decided to get up and leave, of course they made me pay the $12 pizza I didn't eat, I tasted it of course, and yes the taste was disgusting. I'm ok with not giving me what I ask but they must not be aware of what customer service is. In my last 12 years of working in food industry and as manager, I would have never make someone pay for something they didn't eat and didn't order and I would have offer something else at least if I wanted money. I am just so amazed of how they have no clue how to deal with their mistakes. The guy took my money and said have a good day, right!!! I won't even talk about the music and atmosphere cause I'm just too pissed...

We went to Lola’s after one of the staff had convinced us it was a good place to let your hair down in the desert. First of all we were sat at the back, away from everything, in a room that had PSY trance music blasting on full volume. We had decided to move to the main room, waited half an hour for someone to serve us, when we finally got to a bartender, the waitress had approached us saying that we are not allowed to order from the bar but only from her, what sounded ridiculous. Nevertheless we decided to ignore it and started dancing to some karaoke they’d made us choose a few mins before but were told we were not allowed to dance when the door from the club is closed (like WTActialF?!). It was a trans woman clearly not happy about anyone having more fun than her in that place. So after all spending like an almost an hour there we had decided to leave, as there was no chance of having a good night....

Crap bar with crap service. After first queueing to get in, we then waited 20+ minutes to be served (as we got told there was no bar service only table service). Half of our group got drinks immediately, the other half were still waiting 20 minutes later. I politely asked the waiter where our drinks were and why people who had arrived long after us had been served before us; I rudely got told to keep waiting or to leave. We thus immediately left.

This was by far the worst service, the rudest service I’d ever received in a bar in my life. I speak Spanish fluently so language wasn’t a factor / excuse. This was my first time in Chile, so I don’t know if being so rude is just normal here in Chile, but it was a very bad first impression of Chilean hospitality. Maybe they jut hate foreigners...
