Grilled fish with lemongrass 4/5, used too many extra Chinese spices for grilled fish and not authentic in terms of weak flavour from lemongrass, we ordered Soon Hock fish and the texture is great. The beverage normal 3/5 and taste like China Blue. The fried mushroom with dried pork is great 5/5, with proper texture, balanced flavour and excellent umami. The fried mushroom with dried beef is too dry for me and the umami from the dried beef is below expected, 3/5. The rice pot is good, 4/5, with several ingredients and unfortunately a bit of odour. The transitional iced jelly is great while the coconut toast ice cream is average. The cold prawn in parsley sauce is good, 4/5, refreshing and flavoured. The service is good and the atmosphere is great here. This meal cost 760CNY for two pax and to me, the price falls on the moderate to slightly expensive side.
