As the Macau outpost of the Michelin-starred, family-owned restaurant in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, Don Alfonso 1890 pays homage to the millenary culture and food traditions of Italy's Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast through artistry, professionalism and innovation.

Every element of the restaurant's design and décor is married with the lush glamour and luxury of Versace to offer you unparalleled aesthetic delight. The handcrafted terrazzo floor with rosette and flower motifs is inspired by the historic Versace Villa on Lake Como, while the bespoke furniture and Rosenthal x Versace tableware echo Versace's Asian Dream motif. Along the wall hang paintings from Versace's Palace interspersed with the fashion house's signature brightly coloured Barocco pattern.

Inside Don Alfonso 1890's vibrant and convivial ambience, you can discover the best elevated and authentic flavours of Southern Italy in a menu curated by Head Chef Federico Pucci. Went there when they just opened for a few months in 2023. Very exquisite design and atmosphere with unique Versace tablewares. Very nice dining experience in general including the dessert carts, cheese carts and I think serve of Batista coffee literally.

Did a la carte to better suit our taste and dining preferences instead of the set menu. Was told the truffle was a must try but not this time for us actually. They’re prob still tuning back in the days but I can tell effort and craftsmanship in the menus already. If you’re a food explorer and...
