Amazing Experience at Pici Pasta Bar in Kennedy Town

During my trip to Hong Kong, my family and I visited Pici Pasta Bar in Kennedy Town for lunch, and it was truly a highlight of our day! We ordered two sets of the 1 Starter + 1 Pasta + 1 Dessert menu, and everything was fantastic from start to finish.

Before the meal, we were served complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, which were both so flavorful that it set the tone for the rest of the dishes. For starters, we had the Vitello Tonnato and the Nordic Salmon Carpaccio. The salmon was incredibly fresh, and the Tonnato sauce was so delicious that I jokingly wanted to lick the plate clean!

For the pasta, we chose the Tagliolini Truffle and the Strozzapreti “Cacio e Pepe.” Both were made with fresh pasta, giving them an amazing texture. If you’re a truffle lover, the Tagliolini Truffle is an absolute must-try!

Desserts were the perfect ending to our meal—both the Panna Cotta and Tiramisu were so good that we scraped every bit from the cups.

While the food is exceptional, what truly sets Pici apart is the atmosphere and service. The interior is cozy and stylish, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The staff are all incredibly kind, speak English fluently, and make you feel so welcomed—even if you don’t speak Cantonese. Our server, Meg, was outstanding. She took great care of us, made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes, and had such a warm and friendly personality. Talking with her made our experience even more enjoyable. I genuinely hope Meg meets equally kind people on her own travels because she made ours so special!

I've been a loyal customer of Pici for years, always enjoying pleasant times with friends and family at your establishments. The welcoming vibes, attentive service, and delicious, fresh pasta at a reasonable price have consistently made it a favorite. I was thrilled to finally visit the Kennedy branch, a location l've had on my list for its appealing semi outdoor seating, quieter atmosphere, and comfortable setting.

Despite our packed schedule, my group made a special trip to K Town just to dine there. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience l've ever had at Pici.

The hostess greeted us with an attitude that was both arrogant and impatient, an unacceptable demeanor for any floor staff, especially someone tasked with creating a positive first impression. Her behavior seemed to set the tone for the waitresses as well, casting a shadow over our entire visit. After seeing similar complaints in recent reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident. I urge you to reconsider whether this individual is suited for a role that requires treating all customers regardless of ethnicity with respect and professionalism. Your restaurant's reputation and commitment to quality service are at stake. Without meaningful improvement, I'm afraid we won't be returning.

That said, I want to acknowledge the young man who cleared our table. His kindness and attentiveness were the only bright spots in an otherwise dismal experience, reminding us that Pici can still make guests feel welcome.

I hope you'll address this matter seriously. I've always valued what Pici stands for, and I'd hate to see that tarnished by poor...

We went there to PICI Restaurant (Kennedy Town) to have a simple lunch birthday celebration for our friend and considering it was our first time. Yet it was a great, delightful and enjoyable experience. Of course one of the main reason for these experienced is the extraordinary and exceptional food! For a good price for the lunch set it was incredible and worth it! For the price of HKD 158 they really make sure the amount of food from the starters, main course and dessert is more than enough for the customers. That they will leave with a full & satisfied tummy.

Besides the food, what mostly made our experience worthwhile was because of the STAFF! When we arrived one of the staff “Maya” was already very friendly and welcoming. Then “Emman” came to assist us and make sure that we are all settled in and comfortable before we took our order. He is very approachable and dedicated to make sure we are all taken care of from the start. Then come to the best part was “Nezz” who was the one who mostly assist us. It felt like we already know each other for too long because he is very easy to get along with and excellent on connecting with the customers. He always makes sure that we are entertained (small talks) while serving us. He was on top of everything! Making sure we have the best dining experience. Outstanding Nezz!

5 stars for food, place and most especially the staffs of PICI Restaurant (Kennedy Town). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Definitely will come...
