Sushi Yue — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

There is a sure sign of quality and authenticity when you walk in a Japanese restaurant - that it is actually patronized by the Japanese population in Hong Kong. So when I walked in today for the first time hoping that this would be a good place for sashimi, I was pleased to find that the tables nearby were occupied by Japanese.

Great value for the price! It's a little out of the way from public transportation but I like the secluded area, makes it feel less congested off the streets of busy Hong Kong. Came here for lunch and had the mixed cut sashimi donburi. The set includes an egg custard, miso soup and side salad. Price is pretty decent at 120 hkd but the fish wasn’t that great. Kind of quality similar to being at the supermarket.
