Visited this Indonesian cuisine restaurant after watching a YouTube video. It was 11:45 in the morning but it was full of customers already. Hardly get a seat. A waitress came over and helped me. Since I was in a hurry, I quickly ordered its signature noodles dish and a cold drink. It was more than 10 minutes to get the drink and then another 10 minutes to have the noodles. The drink was great with a lot of coconut flavor, but it was a bit small for hkd25. It was my first time having authentic Indonesian noodles, I asked the waitress to teach me about the sauces on the table. They were pretty helpful. Again, the portion of the noodles was small for hkd55. The hand-pladdered noodles were al dente, though. The shop itself was pretty crowded. I would avoid lunch hours if I visit it again.

Honestly it's 100% overrated, tiny shop and both noodles are below average even with the price being pretty cheap it's really not worth the money! Especially the famous handmade noodles with the DIY sauce , the toppings are almost hilariously bad, tiny tiny portion and flavorless! so as our seafood stirfry noodles, totally pro about this place was the veggie being crunchy and fresh.. wouldn't come back and would not recommend this to anybody

I came here after watching the mini documentary made by Mill Milk on this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The food was spectacular , especially the noodles as it was very bouncy and had a very good chew. The service was decent and fast paced and the restaurant decor is vibrant which sets a bright and joyful tone for people to dine in. Overall, I highly recommend you give it a go the next time you’re at Sham Shui Po.
