A shop without a sign or a name shown on the outside, visible outisde is just a very plain Japanese food shop facade in the middle of Sham Shui Po on Tsing Shan Road among all the other ordinary shops. I like such anonymity and confidence.
This shop serves Japanese seafood Don, menu is very selected and offers only 4 options of seafood don based on varieties of seafood and portion.
Seafood is of high quality. Nice soup stock for the finishing of the Don. Normal no nonsense Japanese style deco, sparkling clean. Waitress was smart and attentive, and thoughtful. (thanks for the extra ginger at the end if you read this =) )
I was lucky to be able to walk in half hour before they closed. I heard it is not unusual to wait for 45 minutes outside.
Cash only, no service charge. Opens for lunch and dinner hours only. Can easily park on the nearby...

the menu is fairly straightforward, with sashimi rice/ kaisendon and onigiri. Both of us ordered the smallest kaisendon ($128) The seafood was made into a patty/ cylinder which made it a lil mushy but it didn’t affect the taste/ texture significantly. One box of rice would give you three different tastes, a don, rice box; two do it yourself hand rolls and a Ochatsuke, rice with soup. The best one is the Top Special, for only $299, outstanding price for the quality of food. Remember they only serve a fixed number of rice boxes each night, first come first serve, no reservation, and you will only be seated when everyone in your party arrived. Good luck...
