On the whole enjoyable; nice spacious relaxing environment, food was pretty good and prices very reasonable. Service was somewhat… uncomfortable. Waitress, without asking, tried to take away my soup before I’d finished. I told her to stop but perhaps she took offence.. because I then saw her whispering and giggling with the other waitress. I didn’t think anything of it at first… but then when I did finish my soup and purposely moved it away to show that I had finished, I noticed that they refused to take it away, even leaving it on the table while serving the next course. It was very petty I thought, and when one of them eventually took it, her expression was not good… even though I made a point of thanking them each time they came over. She and the other waitress then whispered and giggled again. I understand that it was just a minor misunderstanding and i could see they were otherwise very good at their jobs. However, whether they took offence or not (though I don’t see why) i think it was not nice to deliberately whisper and laugh in the presence of the customer. OK, decor and presentation of food is 5 out of 5. You can see they tried hard, but the soup was great and so was the chicken and potato. I think their speciallity is beef which we didn't try. The pizza was terrible, tomato puree and some wierd bread, no taste or flavour and the all day breakfast was average with a terrible sausage. The beef on the all day breakfast. Mocmtsils great, but coffee awful. The in summary this place you will get some great pictures and has a good vibe, but the flavours can be hit or miss.
