Decided to get breakfast here after passing by the place a few times. Tsui wah restaurant has a convenient location, located very close to the MTR station.
The place was tidy but not big. A small queue had formed when we visited at 9am to eat.
As a fast food style restaurant, the speed of service was extremely disappointing. My partner ordered macaroni soup, bread and scrambled egg with milk tea, While I ordered fried fish with scrambled egg and milk tea.
Both of these were in their breakfast set menu and were recommended, so we thought we'd have a quick bite and go. My partner's food came out quickly, but mine took over 20 minutes.
When I complained to the manager he just shrugged me off and said that it's still in process, without even bothering to check to the kitchen staff.
The Food itself was really bland. Everything was underseasoned. Fried fish was not crispy on the outside, both batter and the fish itself were bland.
My partner ordered her milk tea with sweetened condensed milk, but her milk tea tasted the same as mine.
The bread and egg were nothing to write about, they were just average.
The price was actually okay, but with this kind of service, speed and taste, it's better to just go to Cafe de coral instead.
They provide better food for the same price, and don't take...

The back of woman sitting at the next table leaned on my back for a few time. I understood it's hk and we had tiny space. But I really didn't like being touched by a stranger in this way. A few minutes later, the next table which was with sofas was available. Then we moved to it sharply. ... Service: I raised and waved my hand for a few times to ask the waitresses to come to take order. But they were always busy for other...
Read moreThis restaurant has the weirdest policy. Upgraded my iced milk tea to the bottled one. If I wanted it in a bottle, I wouldn’t be able to drink it in the restaurant. What kind of nonsense is this? I purchased it from their restaurant and it’s an upgrade option from their menu, yet I can’t drink it there??? Why even bother putting it in the menu? So after we finished eating, I grabbed the bottled milk tea from the fridge. It wasn’t even cold. In fact, none of the bottles were cold. What a disappointment. The restaurant is also not clean with many dirty napkins on the floors. The price of their food is quite pricey too. The only good thing about this restaurant is the cheese...
