The sushi at genki is OK, but not extraordinary. Quality is not very consistent though. Sometimes the sushi feels really fresh and juicy, and other times is feels dry and sad. Also, the restaurant tends to fill up quite quickly around peak hours, and waiting times can be horrendous.
Last time we got a table at the very back of the restaurant with very bad Internet reception. It usually wouldn't be a problem, except that genki switched a few years ago to an online ordering portal. I had to get up and walk to the front of the restaurant to be able to order. While the online system usually ensures that orders are correct, staff are now less helpful and less friendly if you need their direct assistance.
A few years back the level of English was not great, but it has gotten much worse now.
