Maybe they should consider either improving the quality of their food or lowering the price of their food! In all honesty, the only thing of this restaurant that merits compliment is the staff members, who were extremely attentive to customers even during hectic peak hours! Salad - moisture was not properly sieved off and this thus thinned out the dressing! The greens was not exceptionally fresh and crispy! Sashimi - average taste and freshness! The chef was pretty skimpy and the sashimi pieces were as thin and light as condoms! Stone-pot rice - you could instantly tell that they didn't use...

Very nice setting and pretty good izakaya 居酒屋 fare (particularly the sushi) at a premium price. —salmon sashimi very fresh with proper 1cm thickness, surprisingly good portion, and actual wasabi root, not that horseradish junk, at just the right temperature hitting the table —eel donburi set very tender, slightly sweet, no bones, tasty rice —beef udon noodle soup very comfortable and filling, not too salty, noodles slightly chewy Cons —long wait for seats —expensive for what you get outside of sets and sashimi —side salads are fresh but not...

The actual food served on the table has a great difference when compared to the photo in their menu. For mini rice bowl selection, I was attracted by the photo of sea urchin filled up half of the mini rice bowl, that's why I ordered it. Well, it turned out the rice bowl on the table was far from what I was expecting, the sea urchin portion was so tiny that it was less than a teaspoon. Agree with some reviews that the sashimi was so thinly sliced that there wasn't much left to eat along with the white rice. It was very pricey for such food quality I would say. They should treat...

I ate here with my mum and we ordered the Eel clay pot rice, beef udon and soft-shell crab & avocado rolls. It’s a little more on the expensive side, food quality is ok. Eel rice was good, the beef in the beef udon was not that great but the soup was fantastic. I’d probably try the prawn tempura rolls instead of the soft-shell crab rolls next time.
