Currently there is a lot of talk on Zagin Soba and Kane as they both serve ramen in delicious creamy chicken broth and now Ramen Cubism.

I haven't tried either so I 've got to try them all and compare them.

Went to Kane first as I was in the area playing with cats and stumbled upon this joint.

It was early that night so there wasn't a queue hence I went straight in but inside it was 80% full already.

As well as the chicken broth, the eel seemed like another thing to try as the eel rice costs $198.

After observing them grill the eel, you either get served the tail or the middle part but as I was there to try the ramen, I got the chicken broth ramen and a skewer of eel to try.

The ramen came first and just like Zagin, it is topped with crispy burdock which is freshly fried in front of you.

Also topped on the ramen is pork and chicken.

The chicken looked lean, white and veinless.

The first thing I did was try the broth and it was so silky and creamy , to me it tasted a bit like Western style chicken soup which is thick in consistency.

The ramen was thick so it hung the broth well.

Overall I was satisfied with Kane but I have to try Zagin Soba and Ramen Cubism to know which one I like.

They gyozas were perfectly pan fried but they just taste like the usual ones.

The other star of the show turned out to be the eel skewers which was moist yet crispy on the edges.

It was delicate and soft, almost bone free so judging by the skewer I believe the eel rice is going to be...

Environment: Very high class and comfortable Location: Not easy to spot the restaurant which is behind a playground or next to a local market Price:Costly and lavish!!!!$135 for a bowl of tsukeman ,similar to Menya ,however Menya come with reputation and its location......... Moreover,10% service charge.....this is HK ramen ,you cant imagine a fish ball shop or a wonton shop do service charge unless it is in A grade shopping mall. Service: Service team are kind and friendly, keeping asking about thequality of food and feedbacks. (Maybe is still in a soft opening period???) Food:The tensity of soup is not strong, is not creamy at all; if you compare this chicken soup base to the one in happy valley which is unbeatable. Chicken meat is average but it doesnt got strong flavour. As long Moreover, the most difficult thing for tsuke men is keep the soup hot, they use the founde set to keep the tempeature which is not suitable, imagine it is summer time now 30 degree something in winter time it will......

Overall I tried this tsukemen because they are doing a buy one get one free promotion for their opening. I wont comeback to pay 135 for a below average ramen in a hidden place in Jordon. They are planning to open a new shop in Kowloon city in Dec so all the...

This is our first time to try the ramen there! Impressive! It reminded us of the white chicken soup ramen noodles at Hokkaido! We came in a family of three with my son who is 6 years old and ordered a 2 ppl set meal, including two choices of noodles, two snacks and two drinks and we cant finish! The slow cooked chicken in the chicken soup ramen was very good. Soy sauce ramen is quite nice and you won't find it's too salty! I love the soup there as they are not too thick nor too oily, just about right! The fried chicken was super crispy. The bbq pork tastes good too. Services was super efficient and staff was so friendly! We asked for a box to take away the snacks we couldn't finish and they offer us a bag as well. One last thing but not the least i wanna share is their washroom! You have to try to go there! It's like you have come to Japan, the stony road, electronic toilet together with the toothbrushes, TV at the washroom! You just can't imagine there is such a ramen shop up to such standard there! I will i will go another...

Since we can only take out after 6pm, they are currently having a promotion where it is 20% off the usual price after 6pm. Their menu was comprehensive, offering a wide range of ramen, dipped ramen, rice, skewers, appetizers, drinks and desserts etc. Ramen and ingredients were packed separately from the soup so that the ramen would not become soggy. Kanetsuru chicken white soup ramen - This was one of their signature ramen, with the soup thick and creamy in texture. The soup was rich, absorbing the essence of the chicken broth. It was served with sliced chicken and pork, which were chewy and juicy. Egg was soft and smooth too. Shoyu ramen - It was of soy sauce base, thus the soup was lighter and flavourful. Ramen was cooked till chewy. It came with sliced chicken, pork, egg, seaweed, black fungus and bamboo shoots etc. Spicy ramen - The soup was added with chilli oil and sesame seeds, making it spicy and flavourful. It consisted of sliced chicken, pork, egg and asparagus etc, which were chewy and juicy.

Every time when I go to Kane Tsuru Ramen, the first things that comes to my mind is their Chicken White Soup Ramen. Its milky chicken soup base has a frothy broth brimming with rich and luxurious flavours, the creamy consistency of the broth is what captivated me and keep me coming back for more! Kane Tsuru Chicken White Soup Ramen (HK$98) The s broth of this ramen was definitely the star of the show, it was immensely flavourful and seems effortlessly cling to the noodles. The chicken breast was so tender, the deep fried burdock were crispy delicious too. Spicy Ramen (HK$88) Kane Tsuru is best known for the Chicken white soup, but if you’re keen to try something spicy, go for this spicy ramen. It’s made with spicy soup base with chilli oil and sesame seeds, perfect for those who want to tickle your taste buds with a kick! Matcha Jelly (HK$33) The matcha jelly was deliciously chewy, flavoured with matcha for an earthy green tea taste.
