this place is awful!! And might I add that this is coming from a person that is truly not hard to please. I think I've seen shoe boxes larger than that room, and that was not the issue considering I am well aware that HK is an extremely dense city.HOWEVER, you'd think that maintaining a shoe box would be easy right? Well I was sadly mistaken, my room seemed as if it hadn't been properly cleaned in months: blood marks on the walls, stains all over the disgusting carpet, dirt and dust collecting in all corners. And don't even bother booking here if you actually want to sleep. The rooms are not sound proof whatsoever,I could hear even the slightest things like the person in the room over talking. The cherry on top was the awful man at the front desk who barely spoke any English which is typically a requirement when working in a hotel. I had asked him very nicely if he could tell me some ways one could get to the airport during the night and he got extremely annoyed with my simple question and in the end didn't help me whatsoever. IN CONCLUSION, I was to spend 1 single night here but didn't end up staying the night. if u are looking for the worst stay ever then you have...
Read morePros:||- Great location (everything you need is close by)||- Great wifi (handles youtube no worries)||- Good air con (cools down the room quickly...Possibly becuase the room was so small haha)||- Fairly clean||||Cons:||- Thin walls (whenever someone uses a tap or flushes a toilet you WILL know about it)||- Miniscule rooms (I stayed in room 502 and I know most prison cells are larger)||- Slow elevator (A bit hit and miss. Sometimes okay, other times just sits there not doing anything for what seems like an eternity)||- Hookers near front door.||||The following could be considered pros or cons depending on the person:||- Hard matress (Dont run into your room and jump on to the bed...will end in tears haha but I personally like a hard bed)||- Smoking hotel (guests can smoke in room and you can smell it. I am a smoker so it was welcomed but other wouldn't like it I'm sure)||||Seriously would not recommend this hotel to families, non...
Read moreHaving stayed in several single rooms in budget hotels in HK, this is by far the best I have stayed in. It actually feels like a "real" hotel with 24 hour reception and hotel entrance at street level. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although the room was the usual small (HK style) room, it was enough for a short stay, with a very good, quite large bathroom (no standing astride the toilet to shower as is the case in many budget hotels!!).Rather then an old, much used small towel of questionable hygene like most budget rooms in HK, they provided a large disposable towel in a sealed package which I much preferred. There was also a hairdryer and electric jug for hot water, toothbrush & liquid shampoo and body wash supplied. A highlight was a multi socket power point on the bedside table which was convenient. In room wifi was reasonably strong. Overall, great value for a budget, small room hotel & will...
