La Mensa Grill & Bar, nestled in the bustling Plaza 88 at 88 Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan, offers a delightful dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds with its array of dishes.
We have ordered Grilled Snapper with Steamed Vegetables and the New Zealand Grain Fed Ribeye (prepared medium rare) are true testaments to the chef's prowess in delivering flavors that resonate with the essence of quality ingredients.
The Grilled Snapper, served with a side of perfectly steamed vegetables, is a masterpiece of texture and taste. The exterior of the snapper is seared to a crisp perfection, while the inside remains tender and moist, showcasing the fish's natural flavors complemented by the freshness of the vegetables.
The New Zealand Grain Fed Ribeye, requested at a medium rare doneness, is a carnivore's delight. Grilled to perfection, the steak is juicy and flavorful, with hints of rosemary that evoke the sensations of dining in a verdant meadow. The balance of the meat's natural flavors with the aromatic rosemary is a testament to the chef's skill in enhancing the steak without overshadowing its inherent qualities.
No meal at La Mensa Grill & Bar is complete without indulging in their Mushroom Soup, an exquisite blend of creaminess and rich mushroom flavors that envelop the palate in a velvety smooth embrace. The soup's intense mushroom essence, coupled with the luxurious addition of cream, makes for a comforting starter that prepares the diner for the culinary journey ahead.
For dessert, the Sponge Cake with Strawberry Sauce offers a delightful conclusion to the meal. The light and airy cake, paired with the sweet and tangy strawberry sauce, creates a harmonious balance that is both refreshing and satisfying.
The beverage selection, including a refreshing Iced Lemon Tea and a robust Iced Coffee, provides the perfect accompaniment to the meal, offering a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors...

Read moreWe went there for Friday lunch. It was definitely a disappointing decision.
It was almost 30 degree inside the restaurant, I can’t feel any air conditioning, though there was a big fan on. Sweating like hell drink the hot soup.
We have ordered 2 lunch sets. One is pepperoni pizza and the other one was crabmeat pasta.
The starters were corn soup and salad with smoked salmon.
The starters were actually not bad.
However the main were very disappointing.
The crabmeat pasta came with the shredded imitation crabmeat stick instead of real crabmeat. The portion of the the crabmeat stick was like just one. It was $98. The creamy sauce was ok but a bit too oily.
Please be honest with the ingredients. If you don’t have real crabmeat, dun call it unless you got the real one.
The pizza was actually like the frozen microwave pizza. If you have tried those, you would know what I mean.
Since there are many good reviews of this restaurant, maybe we were just unlucky to order the worst dishes. I am definitely...
