Outstanding dimsum in a nice setting, with typically Hong Kong bad service.

原集鮮蝦餃 (30): Excellent shrimp dumplings. The tacky glutinous skin is the highlight, but the shrimp is fresh and bouncy with a good flavor as well.

蜜汁叉燒腸 (36): The same wonderful glutinous skin makes an appearance and works equally well here. Good flavor as well.

峰巢芋盒 (30): This is the first time I've ever liked those deep-fried taro balls with a nest-like exterior. The addition of mushrooms and sauce on the inside make all the difference, though it's still quite oily.

蟹肉灌湯餃 (45): Refined and good.

奶皇千層糕 (30): Like a tasty 馬拉糕 but with 奶皇 layers and nuts on top.

密餞火腿 (38): Flavorful and thick slices of ham that you sandwich in buns.

There's also an 11 a person tea fee, and a 10%...

Should have read the reviews before going. Service really sucks big time. Whole restaurant was 20percent taken, and the reserved table was right under the aircon which is too cold for my group. Waitress offered to turn off the aircon instead as we requested for a change of table. After which, we had to sit on half side of the table to avoid the cold wind from another aircon. Person pushing the cart was pushing his way behind my chair and kept knocking onto my chair. Took a look at the waitress requesting to sit on the next table and she reluctanly said ok (in a rude manner which is totally unacceptable for service). This is it. We left without ordering. Too disappointed. Think they do not care about service upon getting Michelin star. Not...

Food was reasonably good, but does not live up to its reputation. The most disappointing thing was their service. Their staff were good to their regular customers and greeted them cheerfully. However, for new customers, the staff would treat them differently. In particular, the manager upstairs was rather rude when we were there. He met us upstairs and showed us our table without saying a word. In fact, he did not say a word to us over our entire dinner. For the price we paid for the dinner, we had much better dinner with better...

Expected lei garden to taste even better. Good: charsiew, paofan Average: chicken feet (a bit dry), black fungus, radish pastry, seafood curry beancurd (combi didn’t seem to go that well) Poor: dry beef horfun (noodles were too dry/hard and oily) Chrysanthemum tasted quite thick and complimentary ice were served. Service considered decent for a restaurant. Environment was spacious enough. Full house on a Sunday 1+pm afternoon. Overall maybe around 3.8 stars based on the price.

Only a few pictures from my meal with 9 people. Favourite dish was Char Sui, the plate didn't last long enough for a proper pictures. Desserts were great, good selection for all. Good quality, still a little bit over priced

Used to be one of the good restaurants of the Lei Garden group . A lot of the dishes couldn’t be ordered from the main menu but a certain dishes from a printed paper . Both the quality of food and the service has dropped .
