For the duration of the journey towards the shop, you'll find yourself continually asking whether or not you're on the right path. The shop is nestled in a small street, off the main road and surrounded by several garages and homeware shops. There's two floors to it, with most of the seating located on the second floor. It's slightly on the cramp side but it makes up for it in its homey atmosphere. The overall interior is decorated with a semi-loft/industrial feel to it.
There's a good selection of sweet and savoury food. Though my recommendation for savoury would be the fries (or chips, depending if you're from the States or Europe/England) and for sweets, must be the salted caramel pancake. The Napoleon is good, it's not too sweet even though it's slathered with custard. Though be warned, that is a portion for 2 people (but if you're really hungry, you'll be able to finish it yourself). You might be tempted to try the waffles, because of the smell and the waffle iron you see at the front windows, but it's not really that surprising. Don't get me wrong, it's nice (I had the chocolate one, which is not common in many of the shops seeing as it is a chocolate batter) but just not a wow-inducing dish when compared to others.
The only thing it's lacking is in drinks. There are slushies and the usual latte/coffee, tea (lemon or the Hong Kong style milk tea), but the hot drinks selection is limited and it's sometimes difficult to match with the food you're eating.
