STARBUCKS Elements 2F Shop — Restaurant in Kowloon

I visited the Starbucks branch on Christmas Day with my family, hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee together. However, upon arrival, I was disappointed to find many customers still waiting in line, only to be informed that the store was closing at 10:00 PM and advised to purchase from other coffee outlets.

My feedback regarding this experience:

No Holiday Extension It was surprising that there was no extension of service hours on Christmas, a day when many people seek to enjoy festive moments over a cup of coffee.

Confusing Service Despite staff members continuing to make coffee, customers were told that the service had been halted, leading to confusion and dissatisfaction.

Neglect of Customers The high volume of daily sales should not overshadow the importance of accommodating extra customers, especially during special occasions like Christmas.

Employee Engagement Utilising staff members willing to serve customers beyond closing time could improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Lack of Empathy The abrupt closure and rush to shut down the branch without considering the needs of customers present displayed a lack of empathy.

Was there when there was no queue , order few pastries to go without needing it to be heated . Took my order and i waitied. The staff preparing the take away food was having his own bread , while i was waiting for him to prepare my order. Took few more minutes and i realise he is still enjoying his food , i was thinking "is this for real?!!?" So i went over to ask him if my order is ready ( its a simple job with 2 croissants that doesnt need heating) , he was still muching and he looked around his table , picked up a bag(supposingly to be my order) and just pass it to me without saying anything , no apologies no nothing !!!

This is the worse experience , looking at the way they work so unprofessional , even a local coffee shop satff does better and more efficient .

And i am curious , can Starbucks staff eat...

It is a very spacious starbucks and the environ is pretty quiet. But there is a very strange woman who dresses in a raincoat with her body covered head to toes. She even covers her seat with a large plastic sheet and two big cardboards placed behind her seat. Sometimes she speaks to herself and on the mobile phone all day . She is very friendly with the staff there but never orders any coffee or drink. She sits at the biggest table in the shop and places several no sitting signs around her seat so nobody can be near her.
