A very upsetting experience. Service is horrifying. At the entrance, the lady used really bad manners to ask for our LeaveHomeSafe app and vaccine records, and rudely say “it’s clearly notified when you book the table so why don’t you know?”. We should have known and changed restaurant at this point, unfortunately we didn’t. During the middle of our meal, we ordered a lobster noodle ($500) as an addition order. After 35 min it did not arrive, so we chased and asked, the lady said she’ll check but never came back with a response. After 45 min, we checked again, after quite some time they let us know that the kitchen was too busy and had set this dish aside and has not yet started making this. The waitresses and waiters finally responded but with terrible attitude, “the lobster right? We ALREADY SAID, it’s COMING!” “It’s your ADDITIONAL order”, so we said, yes but it’s already way past 50 min now and we’d like to cancel. Clearly no one has the mood to continue after being scolded at in a meal, as if it’s our fault. Different waiters came back with unfriendly remarks. After clearly stating our situation they finally agree to let us cancel. We asked to have the bill immediately afterwards, and again, we had to ask twice before they could give it to us.
Never again! There are much better Chiu Chow restaurants with much better food and at least normal service, esp those...

The Bamboo Fungus and Snail Soup was a comforting bowl of goodness, beautifully balanced and rich in umami. One of the stars of the night was the 6-head Abalone Braised with Pomelo Peel, tender and succulent, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients.
We also enjoyed the Salted Vegetable Stewed Fish, which was perfectly seasoned, and the Jade Shrimp Roe with Pomelo Peel, a refreshing twist that brightened up the dish.

Read moreThis is a Chiu Chow restaurant within elements (Kowloon). There are at least 2 car parks with nice spacious spaces. The cost of the meal will entitle you to park for free and even 2 cars for a few hours.
The restaurant is spacious. It had a nice atmosphere. We had a big table for the 4 of us so it was comfortable.
The service is mixed. The waitresses were not very friendly. In fact they look fed up and quite grumpy which affected our experience of the meal. Further more, before we finished they asked us to pay for the bill as they are cashing up. They were literally hurrying us to leave.
Being quite an expensive restaurant they were very petty with condiments. When we asked for more sauces and coriander for our sharks fin soup they said it would incur additional charge.
The food was mixed. Some dishes were very, some average and some pretty poor. Sharks fin soup was nice. The goose was very tough. The large king prawn looks nice but very chewy. For the price we paid we left feeling disappointed.
Very average experience. For the price there are better restaurant options. I don’t think I will be returning...
