I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful restaurant that offered a diverse menu, and I must say, every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity.

The Prawn Pakora Basket was a standout. The prawns were perfectly battered and fried to a crisp, maintaining their juiciness inside. The accompanying dipping sauce added a zesty kick that enhanced the dish beautifully.

The Lamb Vindaloo Samosa was another highlight. Each bite revealed a rich, spicy filling that was balanced perfectly with the flaky, golden pastry. It was a fantastic introduction to the meal.

The Dal Makhani was creamy and comforting, with a depth of flavor that only comes from slow cooking. It paired wonderfully with the aromatic Garlic Coriander Naan, which was soft, fluffy, and infused with just the right amount of garlic.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was a comforting classic. The chicken was marinated to perfection, grilled, and then enveloped in a rich, spiced tomato sauce that was both hearty and satisfying.

The Truffle Ricotta Cheese Naan was an innovative twist that took me by surprise. The truffle flavor was subtle yet luxurious, perfectly complementing the creamy ricotta. It was a unique addition that elevated the meal.

To finish, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was an indulgent treat. The warm, moist cake paired with the luscious toffee sauce was simply divine. It was the perfect sweet ending to a remarkable meal.

The Masala Chai Punch mocktail was refreshing and aromatic, capturing the essence of traditional chai with a modern twist. It was a delightful companion to the meal.

Equally impressive was the Very Berry mocktail. Bursting with fresh berry flavors, it was both tangy and sweet, making it a refreshing...

✨ Stepping into Sepoy Mess, nestled atop Elements, is like stepping back in time to a bygone era of colonial charm. The soft lighting and elegant decor create a sophisticated and inviting ambiance, perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends.

Tonight's Indian feast was a culinary journey that tantalized my taste buds with every bite!

We started with the Grilled Octopus, perfectly charred on the outside and tender on the inside, with a smoky aroma that awakened my senses. The Butter Naan, soft and fluffy, was the perfect accompaniment, soaking up every drop of the rich curries.

The star of the show, the Chicken Kadai, was a symphony of flavors. The aromatic spices blended seamlessly with the creamy coconut milk, creating a rich and flavorful sauce that coated the tender chicken pieces.

To cleanse the palate, we sipped on the refreshing Mango Lassi, a sweet and tangy delight. The Masala Chai Punch, with its unique blend of spices, offered an exotic twist.

The grand finale, the Pistachio Burnt Basque Cheesecake, was a true masterpiece. The rich pistachio flavor paired perfectly with the creamy, slightly caramelized cheesecake, leaving a sweet and lingering taste that concluded our exquisite Indian dining experience.

Today, I took my husband to celebrate his birthday at an Indian fusion cuisine restaurant Sepoy Mess, as he loves Indian food. Besides naan, every appetizer and main dish had surprises. While the familiar Indian spices were present, there was unexpectedly a refreshing twist! The grilled squid was tender and serve with a zesty lemon sauce that was very appetizing. The Arancini Tikka Chaat, featuring chickpeas and pomegranate sauce, was sweet and tangy, making it quite delightful; I even had some left to enjoy with naan. For the main course, the slow-cooked lamb rack was tender with a char taste.

The waitresses , Mangshi and Shristi, were very nice and professional. They introduced each dish as they were served. Mangshi knew it was my husband’s birthday, and after our meal, they surprised us with dessert and sang a birthday song as a thoughtful gesture. They even offered to take pictures for us, making the dinner a perfect ending.

Mangshi mentioned that the restaurant has a lunch set menu, and I hope to try...

Tried this British Indian Restaurant during the restaurant week with the $298 special dinner set🇮🇳 Food in generally are alright given that the entire team are Indian so use of spice should never be a problem. Originally the set comes with a slice of Pistachio Burnt Basque per head. We planned to order another a la carte pudding since many recommended it. Gotta praise the manager for taking the initiative and switched the cake into one pudding to be shared for us. A scoop of ice cream with the moist pudding is classic. The issue that hampering our dining experience was having only two staff serving all hungry diners. Tho they have my empathy, the long wait was frustating. To reduce travelling back n forth, they have no choice but to put the finished dishes on hold downstairs & deliver them in bulk. Some dishes were lukewarm. Hopefully they would re-consider their flow to optimize guests' and employee experience.
