A renowned Fishball Noodle restaurant in Kowloon City that has been around for a while now. 德昌魚蛋粉 has a unique texture and flavour to its fishballs and soup base. The chilli oil is also a bit more intense than other similar restaurant, but is a good addition. I don't really enjoy beef balls (as it's got a weird flavour, but it might be a preference thing). Read moreUsed to be a lot better. Although you can still taste MSG in their soup base, their food has become less oily and not as strong as it used to be. Even for the ball style of food, all have become having less taste than before, the testure is still great tho. The noodles are smooth and smell good but I think it's too soft for me.
The place is clean and tidy, lighting is sufficient and staff are nice...

Ordered cuttlefish ball hoi fun with seaweed, beef brisket rice noodles and vege. The best of all was the seaweed.... the soup was blend, cuttlefish ball was soft, and hoi fun was average. The beef brisket was dry and chewy. The worst was the vege, so overcooked and it was not that busy......
